Overall Meaning

Mika Nakashima's song Blood is a powerful expression of seeking liberation from inner turmoil and finding inner peace through the expression of oneself. The first verse talks about playing until the very end and feeling everything that is not yet visible with the fingers. The singer requests the listener to feel everything that she wants to give out, holding back nothing. In the heart lies the truth that has not awakened yet, waiting to be released.
