二十歳代で銀座の一流クラブ「姫」のママを務め、直木賞を受賞し、作詞家でもあった山口洋子さんは
何事にも秀でた女性で、その勢いを駆って歌謡界に手を伸ばし、五木ひろしのプロデューサーにまでなりました。
その山口洋子さんが、可愛がっていた五木ひろしがＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦のトリを歌いたいという大きな夢を叶えさせてやろうと、
情熱を込めて作詞した歌だったそうです。
しかしここからが如何にも彼女らしい強引なやり方なのですが、
この「千曲川」には猪俣公章のメロディが先にあり、既に歌詞も歌手も決まっていたものを、
猪俣のメロディーに惚れ込んだ山口が、元の歌詞を自分の作詞した歌詞と入れ替え、
歌手も無理やり奪い取った挙句、五木ひろしに歌わせたという傍若無人ぶりです。
やはり昭和を代表する「できる女」は、何事にも意欲的で攻撃的なんですね。
昭和50年の歌です。

県民ではないけど何故かこの 千曲川 には哀愁を感じる大好きだ。日本の歌 北国の春 もいいがこの曲に 日本の良さ
を感じてる。にしても 五木ひろし いい歌歌うなぇ〜

戸倉上山田温泉に行きました。
千曲川が横を流れている宿で泊まり、この歌を思い出しました。
土手を歩くとこの歌の歌碑があり、曲が流れてきます。
千曲川を見ながら感慨深く聴き入りました。

｢千曲川🎵｣関東圏に住んでいますが、故郷が富山県ですのでいつも上信越自動車道を通って帰省していました。ただ令和元年の台風19号による決壊で、大災害になりましたね。あれから3年尊い人命😢は帰って来ませんが、千曲川は完全復旧しているでしょうね。
