When her manager replied that they wouldn't for the time being, Koda responded with her opinion that they ought to have children as soon as possible, as, "when women are around 35 years old their amniotic fluids go bad."
The comment was deemed so offensive that many radio shows and newspapers received angry complaints from women around the country. Koda's official website was shut down, along with endorser websites featuring her. Despite the public backlash, the album reached #1 on the Oricon charts for two weeks, selling over 600,000 copies.

The song "D.D.D." by Koda Kumi feat. SOULHEAD is a high-energy dance track that celebrates the power of music and performance to make people feel alive. The opening lines invite listeners to turn up the volume and get ready for a "sexy" experience, setting the tone for the euphoric party vibe that follows. The lyrics describe the intense excitement of being on stage and performing for an audience, capturing the feeling of being in the moment and living life to the fullest.
In the first verse, Kumi addresses her fans directly, introducing the idea that this will be a "special" show and declaring that she's not in the mood for uncertainty or doubt. The chorus emphasizes the idea that no external tools or props are necessary to create the desired effect—Kumi's naked body and fiery passion are enough to make audiences feel ignited and uplifted. The second verse continues to describe the electrifying sensation of performing live, suggesting that nothing can stop the energy and momentum once the show starts.
Overall, "D.D.D." is an anthem for anyone who loves dancing, music, and the feeling of being lost in the moment of a great performance. It celebrates the power of the human body and mind to create something magical and unforgettable, and encourages listeners to embrace their own passions and desires.
