He majored in music composition in 1988 from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and proceeded to the Graduate School of the University receiving his master’s degree, summa cum laude, in composition in 1990. He has written many scores for film, tv-series, animations and advertising. He collaborates frequently with his sister, violinist, Mariko Senju. He also collaborated with the famous Japanese pop singer Akina Nakamori on her Utahime and Enka cover albums orchestrating them.

Ik this is from fullmetal alchemist, but I found a new meaning for this song when someone used it in a video that I WISHED I could find again of Escanor vs Gowther from Seven Deadly Sins where Escanor is able to overcome his own nightmares of being left behind by the woman he loves.
"You where never the one that would walk besides me. You're the one guiding my path, showing the way through your warm light... FOR THAT IS WHAT A SUN DOES!"
And then he starts to enter his day form, his prideful form in the middle of the night and explains that this nightmare was nothing to him, but hope.
"So come now, little sin that takes pleasure in toying with the heart of others. Retributions for your shenanigans shall be severe!"

@@danielbailey211 Other way round - being true to one's ideology is more important than one's self. That's the core of Kimblee's beliefs. It's why he genuinely admired the Rockbell's, who gave their lives sticking to their beliefs, and turned against Pride who cast aside his in order to try and keep living.

@@leow637 Kimblee doesn’t respect the ideals the rockbells believed in, but he did respect their conviction and dedication to it. Basically, he thinks morals are a waste of time and existence, but still is able to find value in those who pursue their ideals strongly regardless. He doesn’t care that they were saving all lives, he just cares that they were so strong willed about it
