Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics to Sakai Masato's "Tasogare ni Wakare wo" tell the story of a couple bidding each other farewell during twilight. The singer suggests to take a walk outside of the town to watch the fading purple sunset together and remember their love for each other. As they walk, they become lost within the crowd of people walking towards the station. The singer then takes note of a small figure crying in the window of the station, perhaps their lover. They continue walking and reflect on how someday, they will meet again for the sake of that day, and then start biting their lips.
