These lyrics are from the song "Sazanka no Yado" which tells the story of a woman who is married to someone she does not love. The opening lines are about the woman wiping the cloudy glass and asking if her future is visible. This question can be interpreted in two ways, one is whether she can see a future where she is happy with her current husband or if she can see a future where she is with someone she loves. The chorus talks about her being someone else's wife even though she loves someone else, and how she feels like the winter flower, the sazanka, blooming in red but still lonely.

The middle verse talks about a sinful ring that she took off, and how she wants it to burn away along with her love for someone else. She doesn't want to see tomorrow, she doesn't want to be someone else's wife anymore, she feels like the sazanka, alone in the winter. In the last verse, she asks her husband to let her dream for a night at least and hold her until morning. Even if they tried their best, they will still be someone else's wife, and she wonders when spring will come to the lonely place where the sazanka blooms.
