* 1987年ヤンマガアイドル組オーディションで約1万人の中から優勝。（最終選考には桜樹ルイもいた）入賞者３人によりアイドルグループA-Cha結成。当時の目標は中山美穂だった。
* 1987年12月21日、アイドルグループA-Chaの一員としてワーナー・パイオニアより「OITAな15歳」でデビュー。セカンドシングル「ハネムーン」も発売。
