From there she gained more public exposure; she released her debut single Level 42 in June 2004, which was featured on Saku Saku as its ending theme. Her debut album KAELA followed in December of the same year. Her fanbase grew considerably after her third single リルラ リルハ, which was used in a series of Vodafone commercials in Japan and made Kaela a household name.
Kaela's third studio album Scratch, released in February 2007, is her most successful so far, spending two consecutive weeks at number 1 on the Oricon charts and selling over 360,000 copies.
In 2009, Kaela released her fifth studio album, Hocus Pocus. Butterfly, a promotional song off the album, became Kaela's biggest hit. It was certified Million by the RIAJ in both ringtones and cellphone downloads, and Double Platinum in PC downloads.
In 2011, Kaela released her sixth studio album and first since her marriage to actor 瑛太 (Eita) and the birth of her first child, 8EIGHT8, which peaked atop the charts, making it her second album to do so, since Scratch.

1つのこらず 手に入れたい
Trill trill recur
いのるわ
かなえたいの この夢を
光つなぐから
見失わない 涙あふれて
Trill trill recur
いのるわ
離れてゆくよ この夢が
さぁ目を覚ますの
ねぇ幸せがいい
神様
きたない欲望は全てすてるわ
光つづける 星のよう
流れつづける 川のよう
Trill trill recur
いのるわ
あきらめるのは まだ早い
とどまることなく
ねぇ幸せがいい
神様
ねぇ私を見て
神様
夢見る あなたは 輝いている
The lyrics to 木村カエラ's song トゥリル トゥリル リカー (Trill Trill Liquor) express a desire for happiness and fulfillment. The singer is searching for something to fill a void, represented by the empty spaces between the stars. She hopes to find what she is looking for through prayer and by connecting with others. The river is used as a metaphor for life's journey, with its flow representing the passage of time and the inevitability of change. The singer is not afraid of this change, however, and instead embraces it as a means of growing and discovering one's true self.
The repeated refrain of "Trill trill recur" suggests the cyclical nature of life, with its ups and downs and the need to keep moving forward in order to achieve one's goals. The singer urges herself to never give up, even when the going gets tough, and to keep striving towards the light of the stars. The final lines of the song address a divine presence, asking for happiness and requesting that the singer be seen and recognized as an individual with her own dreams and aspirations.
Overall, the song is a hopeful and optimistic reflection on the journey of life and the search for meaning and happiness. It encourages an attitude of persistence and openness to change, and emphasizes the importance of seeking connection and understanding with others.
