He's part of seiyuu unit KAmiYU with fellow seiyuu, Miyu Irino (入野自由).
He also host of several radio talk shows being the most famous "Dear Girl Stories" hosted with fellow seiyuu 小野大輔 (Daisuke Ono).
It has been said by Daisuke Ono that besides the tough looking/sarcastic personality, Kamiya Hiroshi is really a "tsundere".
He's is best-known for being the voice of Nozomu Itoshiki from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Tieria Erde from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Takashi Natsume from Natsume Yuujinchou, Orihara Izaya from Durarara!! and Mephisto Pheles from Ao no Exorcist, Levi from Shingeki no Kyojin, among others.
Owner of several awards Kamiya Hiroshi has won "Best Lead Actor" and "Best Personality" in the Third Seiyu Awards and "Most votes" two years in a row (2011 and 2012).
