Regarding presentation, Molduga has to be the most frightening.

Talus is just goofy.
Hinox are also goofy, but slightly scarier.
Lynels are frightening exclusively because of the difficulty of the fight, not the presentation or psychological aspect.
Guardians are basically just run and hide.
Flux Constructs? I don’t really know what to say.
Gleeoks are no.
Froxes are literal nightmare fuel if you’re unaware of the presence of one.

But Molduga? Your mobility is hampered in the desert, there are very few places to hide, and once the cello starts, the boss bar with a giant ‘Molduga’ appears, and you see the ripple in the sand? Oh boy…

It's cool that the Molduga battle theme in Breath of the Wild turns out to be a 10,000 year old Molduga summoning song that's played by the Gerudo in Memory #6 in Tears of the Kingdom.

@toiletseat777

Older than 10,000 years. 10,000 years ago was the calamity in the mural, not the imprisoning war. so many people get this wrong.

@AlfonsoSRT

Is it really tho? Isn't that the music that's playing in the cutscene?

@@toiletseat777 Also "10,000 years ago" is equivalent in Japanese more to "once upon a time" than literally 10,000 years in the past.

@palonsoro

@@paulholleger8538 Good to know that. That might be an important lost in translation for both BotW and TotK.
