Brand-new World

(by my side)
Where is the truth?
(believe myself)
(keep my faith)
Brand-new World
Which is the truth?
(believe myself)
(keep my faith)
Brand-new World
(believe myself)
(keep my faith)
Brand-new World
In the first stanza of 西沢幸奏's song Brand-new World, the singer reflects on the uncertain and unknown future. The line "In the morning, covered in fog, still reflects the unknown shadow by my side" highlights the confusion and fear that come with uncertainty. The distorted and thriving place in the next line could represent the challenges and obstacles that come with moving forward. The line "Where is the truth? Where is it hiding? Without even lamenting" expresses a sense of desperation to find the truth among the chaos.
The chorus of the song, with lines like "Run! The sparkling voice awakened me and told me high, believe in myself," and "Keep my faith, rush with the only impulse that is unique and incomparable," encourages the listener to believe in themselves and pursue their desires with determination. The line "Let go of everything, embody the incarnation of weakness, and free myself with all of it - Brand-new World" could represent breaking through the limitations that fear and doubt create and venturing into a new world of possibilities.
The second stanza addresses the difficulties of living in an overpowering and overwhelming daily existence. The line "Escaping from sorrow, I named my lost memories as 'memories' and fled" highlights the importance of acknowledging the past but also being able to move forward. The last verse encourages the listener to continue pursuing their goals and dreams despite the challenges that they will undoubtedly face.

I think
@adilfadhilah4334
Shiena-san was so amazing...imagine have 2 song as opening anime The Asterisk War, if iam not mistaken she was 15 or 16 yo that time
@kelbyhaines
From what I remember she's 18 that time cuz she's a '97 kid from what I know
@psirusam
How fitting -san is in this case. I love Japanese idioms, perhaps because they're opposite the American culture where everyone is nicknamed (and are otherwise shamed for meaningful names). It's not that I'd rather either, but that I need both. Alas, some day I'll have my city.
