She is famous for her collaboration song with SoulJa, "Koko ni Iru yo", and her answer song "Soba ni Iru ne". In September 2008, the Guinness World Records certified that "Soba ni Iru ne" became the best-selling digital download single in Japan with over two million "full-track" downloads (Chaku Uta Full). However, the record of the Guinness World Records was replaced by Greeeen's song "Kiseki" in June of 2009. Including various forms of digital downloads, it sold over 8.7 million downloads by November 2008. Both of the songs are similar, and both share the same chorus. However, the song "Soba ni Iru ne" proved to be more popular than the song "Koko ni Iru yo", debuting at #3 in its first week on the Oricon charts, and in its second week, reaching #1 on the charts. "Soba ni Iru ne" stayed in the Top 5 ranking for 7 consecutive weeks. It became the highest-selling female single (strictly a duet song) on the Oricon 2008 yearly charts

Finally, you said to me "I'm so sorry"
Missing you もう
I'm sorry, so sorry
君傷つけた but you save me
Loving you もう
I'm sorry, so sorry
I'm sorry, so sorry
Loving you もう
I'm sorry
In the song "I'm Sorry" by 青山テルマ, the lyrics express regret and longing for a loved one after experiencing miscommunication and distance in the relationship. Throughout the verses, the singer acknowledges that time has been the only thing keeping them from being together, but their hearts have remained united. Despite making promises to each other, they constantly miss each other. The chorus shows how the singer wishes they could turn back time to the moment before they met their loved one and how their earlier strength fades away when they must decide not to see each other again. This regret is paired with a growing sense of appreciation for the other person, who has shown her kindness and gave her comfort in the darkest of times.
As the song progresses, the singer expresses a deep desire to talk more with the loved one and not take their relationship for granted again. She realizes that she hurt the other person by being ambiguous and distant. She concludes the song by reaffirming her love and commitment to the other person, wishing to start anew with true love and genuine kindness. The lyrics show how miscommunication and distance can cause pain in relationships and the importance of effort and communication to keep them strong.
