Her stage name was given by composer Noriyasu Agematsu. She is affectionately called "Feinyan" (フェイニャン) by her fans.
She released one single (first?) "Gekka no Rasen" (月華の螺旋) in 2007 under Hobirecords label, before she was recruited by Lantis. Her debut single with Lantis was "Mind as Judgment" in 2009 ("Mind as Judgement" it is the opening song of anime "Canaan".). Since then, all her CD are released under Lantis.
She also qualifies in calligraphy skills and likes to play the piano.

The song "Distance point" by Japanese singer飛蘭is a melancholic ballad that speaks of the pain of losing someone you love, the feeling of betrayal and the struggles of moving on. The opening verse "きっと信じて そして愛した 全て裏切る Face up? I can't" translates to "I believed and loved you, but everything has been betrayed. Can I face it up? I can't." The song expresses the singer's deep sorrow and confusion about the relationship's breakup and the prospect of moving on.
The song's title, "Distance point," is a metaphorical reference to the emotional distance that the singer must cross to heal from the pain of the failed relationship. The lines "焦がれ続けたことさえ虚しいと言わず (Even the longing seems foolish if unfulfilled)" and "待ってどうして底を見ないで (Wait, why don't you look at the bottom?)" both point to the singer's struggle to let go of the relationship and move on.
