Ayo, ladies and gentleman

I got a feel, I got a feel
'Cause
Okay

The lyrics to 방탄소년단's song 쩔어 (Dope) express confidence, determination, and a strong work ethic. The opening line, "음, 어서 와, 방탄은 처음이지?" (Um, welcome, this is your first time with BTS?), sets the tone for the rest of the song, as the group introduces themselves and their unique style. They declare that they are ready to perform and stand out from others.
The lyrics emphasize the hard work and dedication the members put into their craft, as they mention working overnight in the studio while others are out partying. They take pride in their sweat and effort, believing that their hard work will pay off and set them apart. The repeated refrain of "난 좀 쩔어!" (I'm amazing!) reinforces their confidence and self-assurance.
The song also touches on the criticism and skepticism they face from others, dismissing them as "비실이, 찌질이, 찡찡이, 띨띨이들" (negative and ordinary people). Despite this, BTS remains focused on their own path, confident in their abilities and rejecting negativity. They encourage others, especially young people, to do the same, urging them to be loud and proud and not give up on their dreams.
Overall, the lyrics of 쩔어 convey a message of self-belief, hard work, and perseverance in the face of challenges. It serves as an anthem for BTS and their fans, inspiring them to strive for greatness and not be deterred by criticism or setbacks.
