Oh girl run, don't tell me bye bye
Run you make me cry cry

Youth (youth)
The song INTRODUCTION : YOUTH by 방탄소년단 (BTS) is a message of encouragement to the young generation to chase after their dreams despite their insecurities and fears of failure. They start off by saying that youth has no age, implying that anyone who is chasing their dreams can still be considered young, regardless of their actual age. BTS members - Rapmon, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook - consider themselves to be one among the many who are chasing their stars. They sing about continuously falling and running, never stopping until they achieve their dreams, presenting this as a never-ending process.
Then the song switches to a different tone and starts addressing a "girl" who doesn't seem to believe in herself. The phrase "Oh girl ブルタオルネ" (Bultaoreune) is a Korean slang term meaning "fire up," implying encouragement. Here, they encourage her to keep running, even if it makes her cry, and not to say goodbye. They sing about needing her, and not wanting her to turn to ashes but to run with them. The repeated phrase, "ya ya ya ya, na na na na" could be interpreted as humming or chanting a melody to keep her going.
The repeated chorus of "Everything everything, ヒヒヒ ヒラヒラ舞う" (hahihi hirahira mau) is a reference to the number of petals falling from a flower (Hydrangea) and compares it to how the young generation aims for their dreams. They sing about how the fire of youth can make you love only one thing (in this case, their goals). But, even if fate favours everyone else but you, you should keep on going.
Overall, the song is about how youth is not about a specific age bracket; it is about the mindset of chasing your dreams, about constantly falling and getting back up, and about overcoming your fears to keep moving forward. BTS sends the essential message of not giving up on your dreams, but instead to keep running, and you will eventually get to where you want to be.
