끝났단 걸 let me know
끝났단 걸 let me know
Girl, let me know
Girl, let me know
Girl, let me know

Girl, let me know
Oh I gotta need a

The lyrics of BTS's "Let Me Know" tell a melancholic story of a person left standing alone after a breakup, asking their former lover to tell them definitively that it's over so they can move on. The opening lines, "On this finished melody, I'm standing alone / Now tell me that it's over, let me know," set the tone for the song's theme of longing for closure. The chorus repeats the plea "Girl, let me know" as the singer begs their ex to provide them with an explanation, no matter how painful, so they can finally close the door on the relationship.
The vivid imagery in the song, from tears mixed with raindrops to the warmth of a lover's touch vanishing with the melody, paints a picture of intense emotions that are difficult to escape. The lyrics reference the transience of love, using the metaphor of cherry blossoms that bloom briefly before wilting away, and compare the relationship's intensity to a hot flame that has now burned out.
The song's reflective lyrics blend seamlessly with its mellow melody and the members' soulful vocals. The song's pacing is slow and melancholic, perfectly matching its message of heartbreak and longing for closure.
