The city came alive
As the sun set, the lights of the city began to shine and create a lively atmosphere.

We were smoking with strangers
We were socializing and smoking cigarettes with people we had never met before.

We were dancing with the lights on
We were dancing while the city lights were still shining brightly.

I was singing to 'The Angels'
I was singing along to a song that I enjoy called Angels.

When the buzz ain't like it was
When the feeling of excitement or euphoria has passed.

Well then it's time for a change
