Wow. Written 12 years ago, delivered 2 years prior, making it a total of 14 years ago. This happened to me too. It was 37 years ago for me (man, I'm old, lol). But, I remember it, on a Monday night in the church parking lot in my car. I know that I know that I know if I hadn't gotten saved that night, I wouldn't be here today and I would had ended my life. So thankful for God's grace. Exactly! Felt like being born again. Love this song.

Growing up I would hear this song all the time on the radio, wasn't until I fell away from Jesus and my whole life fell apart and back in 2017 I gave my life back to Christ, that I completely understand what this song means. I thank God every day he never stopped chasing me when I walked away from him. The way God transformed me it's like night and day and I can say with 100% sincerity that when I gave my life back to Christ something in me changed and I truly became a completely different person, coming back to Jesus was the best decision I have ever made

Before my brother was murdered 22 yrs ago he was a devout Christian. He ALWAYS went to school with a bible in hand and no matter what anyone else said he was nvr ashamed of the Lord's word. He was always willing to share it with anyone that was in need or asked. At his funeral it was standing room only. One girl who was headed down a very dangerous path was saved, Her parents thanked my mom for having a son who saved her life & even got saved that day too. God works wonders even through pain!

After my mothers passing, I accepted Christ's sacrifice gift and comitted my life to Him. It really was like being "born again." Now 10 years later, I'm 57 and hearing this song the first time reminded me of what it felt like the next day and every day since. There is REAL hope in KNOWING Christ. I was born 6 weeks premature in 1986, I weighed 2 pounds 6 ounces, I have a scar on my back from a collapsed lung surgery. I smoked cigarettes in 1996. I read the Ten Commandments in 1996. I smoked marijuana in 1998. I drank alcohol in 1999. I almost drowned in a swimming pool. I nearly fell off a 30 foot ladder, it was raining and my right foot slipped. I was baptized in March 2009. I started watching Amazing Facts in June 2009. I have not smoked cigarettes, marijuana, or drank alcohol since March 2009. I started writing in 2010. I was almost trampled by 10 deer. I finished reading the Bible in 2016, it took me 20 years. I nearly crashed head on with a car, when I was driving back to Beaverton, Oregon from Garibaldi, Oregon for work. I have been sharing Doug Batchelor's sermons since 2018. I have been giving tithes and offerings to Amazing Facts since 2018. Third day has been a favorite band of mine for a while now. At 57 years old I can definately relate to this song. I was 47 when my mother died suddenly with lukemia and I had to face my own mortality. I had avoided God all my life but with her passing I had to acknowledge that I didn't have forever to live and I wanted some assurance that "this life" is not all there is to LIFE.

I think many non-believers think faith means following something you never experience. Sure, faith means believing in a God you can't physically see, but as a Christian I experience God all the time. I'm all for loving our fellow brethren no matter if they are christians or not. It is our duty to deliver God's message to the masses. Sometimes i'ts not all nice and fluffy. They can be positve or negative. Unfortunately just being nice isn't enough. We need to bring the gospel with authority and let people know there is a right way and a wrong way. We need to pray without ceasing for christians as well as non christians and paray that God's will shall be done.

i love that theyr talking about finding ourselves and then jesus finding us....it makes me think of how unworthy we are and yet god is able to make us wretched sinners into something beautiful!!=)

Romans 11:32 For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. You're right, some times God has to knock us off of that high horse so he can pick us up and put us back on it allowing us to feel his grace and mercy.

this is a good song it talks about how we live a life and everything falls apart and we have nowehere else to look or go and than God shows up breaths life in you again you are lifted given strength emmanuel means God with us God bless everyone
