This song is so fitting to my testimony. I was a heroin cocaine addict for many years. I lost everything, my home, my children. I looked like a skeleton I weighed what a young child should weigh. Thus went in for so long and every now and again I’d hear what I now know is the voice of Jesus prompting me to call on him. Me being so stubborn resisted for so long. One day I lost a friend he hung himself. I couldn’t take anymore I was at the lowest point in my life and decided to kill my self. Something at that moment stopped me. It was almost like a physical touch saying stop. I cried out to Jesus to save me. At that second I was healed. 15 years later and I’ve never touched drugs since. God has given me back everything Satan stole from me. My children, I even have another son. I have a lovely home. But I’m alive thanks to his mercy. I’d be in hell now if I’d taken my own life that day. Thank you Jesus for my life I love you.

I watched my wife die suddenly right in front of me. I saw her take her last breath and lost the love of my life. SO precious a soul was gone. No more mission work for her, but I went back on the field. Back to our home on foreign soil. Sleeping an hour a night. I listened to this song over and over as I literally cried out to Jesus. About 12 years ago driving a semi in the middle of no where I was having a really bad moment and I couldn't decide if I even wanted to live. Struggles from overseas when I was in the Marines doing things I am not proud of. I told god I give up and I quit. As I was flipping through channels on the radio I heard 3rd day light at the end of a tunnel. Tell me a song cant change a life. Now I am married to a beautiful women and we just had our first baby girl. Power of god is amazing. we may not be worthy of it in ours eyes but to him we all are. after going through rehab twice, I was regaining custody of my children. 3 boys, all under 10. then i fell pregnant- finally a girl!
I was so excited, and the boys rubbed my belly and spoke to her. at 34 weeks she was still born. my heart has never been so broken and this song is so healing

My grand daughter passed away on 8/19/16: she was 6 months old. a beautiful ray of love and sunshine now gone. we played 3 songs at her funeral, I picked this song. it was played 1st. God honored me. I cry everytime I listen to it but I find comfort as well as peace, we must cry out to Jesus. He is the only answer to the grief you will feel in this life.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I know you feel. my dad died when I was really young. it's been at least 15 years but I still feel pain like it was yesterday. I take comfort in the fact that one day I will see him again. I listen to this song, and start to cry because I feel God's overwhelming comfort and love. He's my rock and yours. He'll always be there for us. to comfort and love us.

This song touches me in so many ways. It makes me think about people that need to hear this and God just spoke through them to all. It so sad about all of it. Addictions, chains, marriage, losing loved ones early. Nothing is easy but with God we will be ok. He will never give us something we can't handle. This song "Cry out to Jesus" was playing as I left work upon receiving the phone call that I needed to come to my mother's side as she was nearing her last breaths. As I rushed through traffic it seemed like I would never get to her. The lyrics brought out some very heavy burning tears it was difficult to keep my eyes on the road. Seems like Jesus was steering cause I don't know how I got there. I prayed that she hang on at least long enough for our final goodbye.I thank God for giving her several more breaths of life and I was able to be there for her final moment.Miss you mom. I know you're watching over me, cause whenever I can't quite figure it out , this song comes on and takes me right back to you.Love your youngest daughter, "Rosie"

I cried like a baby when I first heard this song. I lost a daughter in 2003 from a tragedy. She was only 27. I also have a son who has an alcohol addiction so this song really hit home for me. Thru the pain I have learned that I have one true friend n his name is Jesus n he has my back when no one else is there. Thank you Third Day for that awesome song! I've heard this song so many times through the years, but when it played today on my way home from work, the words hit me at a new level. Our family has gone through several blows this past year, from unemployment to death to attempted suicide. I've learned that through every single moment, Jesus wrapped His arms around me and gave me hope when life seemed hopeless. That was just the song that I needed tonight. My heart is heavy for those lost in sin, and with all of the shootings and evil in this world, my heart is broken. We cannot help but cry out to Jesus. I have seen so much evil in the past few weeks, it is hard to take it all and because my heart is very heavy. All we can do is pray that Jesus takes over this world and brings peace.
