Sicmonic was formed in March 2005 when the guitarists Ray Goodwin, Robert Warren and Jason Williams of The Awakening, merged with vocalist Taylor Hession of Bedlam 23 and drummer Douglas Berry. Sicmonic quickly became an icon in the southwest music scene and in 2006, they released their debut album titled, Look to the Skies. Sicmonic peaked at #6 on the Sign Me to Roadrunner Records "All Time Metal" chart.
The band’s debut album, Look to the Skies was released in August 2006. The album’s first single, “Fist to Throat” featured a Fallen Films released music video and was shot behind their rehearsal studio in Phoenix, Arizona. The video was directed and edited by Freddy Allen. The album features a cover of the Charlie Daniels Band, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. Soon, Look to the Skies caught the interest of Italian label Aural Music, and brought forth the sophomore album, Somnambulist. Before the writing of Somnambulist, Douglas Berry left the band.
On July 30, 2008, Sicmonic independently released a sampler containing four tracks to be released on the second studio LP, Somnambulist. On September 9, 2008, Sicmonic released an independently recorded version of Somnambulist and features long time friend and original The Awakening drummer, Zack Sewell. Only 1000 independent copies were pressed and released before engaging in an exclusive contest with Aural Music. A signed version was released on December 25, 2009. It contained alternative artwork and four bonus tracks that were previously released on Look to the Skies. Somnambulist berthed 2 singles, “Oxygen” and “Somnambulist”. After recording the album, guitarist Robert “Bob” Warren parted ways with the band and Josh Ward stepped in to fill rhythm guitar duties.
Darcauditure is the 3rd full length album to be released by Sicmonic; it is due to be released in late 2011. After one year, during the writing process of Darcauditure rhythm guitarist Josh Ward left Sicmonic. Auditions were opened to the public for the blank rhythm guitarist position. After quite a few auditions, eighteen year old Ryan Gero was selected as the rhythm guitarist. Sicmonic again signed onto Aural Music.

Silent Screams
(sic)monic Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Silently is how loud I scream
If eternity cannot be conceived
then I will collapse where I stand and disappear
If I could only breathe one breathe
If I could only say one word
It would be whispered at the break of dawn
As my symmetrical shadow treads beside me
A symbol of a deeper meaning inside thee
Wandering through forests only by moonlight
Over hills deep into valleys that just might
Reveal the living breathing transient ambiance of the sacred cadence I have heard...
For so long it seems like eternity but time will always be misconstrued
So in these moments that color you in shades of forever
tear down the walls and move through
Infinite is how I dream
Silently is how loud I scream
If eternity cannot be conceived
then I will collapse where is stand and disappear
If I could only breathe one breathe
If I could only say one word
Oh god I need to know how long I have been here
Although I'm motionless it seems like a nightmare
My last memory I was staring into the sun
Searching for signs of life all went black and know I come
Back to life looking eye to eye with the highest cloud
Objectively analyzing rhythms and patterns know
To reveal the living breathing transient ambiance of the sacred cadence I have heard...
For so long it seems like eternity but time will always be misconstrued
So in these moment that color you in shades of forever
tear down the walls and move through
Infinite is how I dream
Silently is how loud I scream
If eternity cannot be conceived
then I will collapse where I stand and disappear
In all of these dreams I measure the distance
Between the falling rain and neverending existence
And it recedes below the surface
Resurrection of a deeper purpose
Ponder the philosophy of where we do come
From what we are made up of in relation to the sun
These are the moments that belong to anything but ourselves
That realization what I've been waiting for
The lyrics of "(sic)monic's" song Silent Screams convey a sense of existentialism and a contemplation of the infinite. The singer speaks of dreaming infinitely and screaming silently, implying that their innermost thoughts and emotions are often left unheard and unexpressed. They question the concept of eternity and existence, and ultimately come to the realization that time will always be misconstrued. The lyrics urge the listener to tear down the walls and move through, suggesting a need for introspection and a willingness to delve deeper into the meaning of life.
The singer speaks of their last memory being staring into the sun and searching for signs of life. This could possibly represent a search for purpose and understanding in life, which may seem futile and never-ending. They also speak of analyzing rhythms and patterns objectively, which could be interpreted as an attempt to find some structure or order in a seemingly chaotic world.
The lyrics also touch upon the interconnectedness of all things and the importance of contemplating our origins and what we are made up of. The singer speaks of these moments not belonging to ourselves, which could be interpreted as an invitation to broaden our perspective and think beyond our individual selves.
Overall, the lyrics of Silent Screams are a thought-provoking exploration of existential questions and the need to search for meaning in life. The song leaves the listener with a sense of introspection and a call to tear down the walls that keep us from truly understanding ourselves and the world around us.
