13inlet is the stage name for singer/songwriter, Patrick Schmid. Schmid gained notoriety for both his covers and original songs uploaded to youtube under the name 13inlet. Schmid's original music blends folk, alternative and grunge with story-telling lyrics.
Schmid met John Pacifico and Joe Bartley in early-2010. They formed the hard rock band Monkey Trick and released a debut album Songs for the Lost in late-2010, which has received critical acclaim. Yet, Schmid's desire to release an less hard rock centered album led him back to 13inlet. With assistance from Pacifico (drums and cello) and Bartley (bass, piano, guitar), recording for 13inlet's debut album Welcome Home is underway and should be complete by Summer 2011.
