You know I love you,
I'll always be true,
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do
Love, love me do
You know I love you,
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do
Someone to love,
Somebody new
Someone to love,
Someone like you
Love, love me do
You know I love you,
I'll always be true,
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do
Love, love me do
You know I love you,
I'll always be true,
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do
Yeah, love me do
Whoa, oh, love me do
The Beatles' first hit single, "Love Me Do" was released in 1962, and it is a simple love song with a catchy tune that has remained popular and memorable to this day. 1964...The Tribute's cover version of this song captures the energy and spirit of the original, and the lyrics convey a sense of longing and devotion.
The first verse sets the tone and establishes the central theme of the song - a plea for love and the assurance of loyalty. The repetition of "love me do" serves as a refrain and reinforces the message. The second verse introduces the idea of finding "someone new" to love, but ultimately the singer proclaims his love for the one who is already in his heart.
The song's structure is straightforward and uncomplicated, with a repetitive melody and a limited number of chords. The harmonica provides a distinctive sound that adds to the song's charm and appeal. Overall, "Love Me Do" is a classic example of the Beatles' signature style, and its enduring popularity is a testament to the power of simple, heartfelt messages conveyed through music.
