i was detected in MRI with mild distal Supraspinatus tendinosis on left shoulder. Also, the MRI report stated that I have Acromion type 2 bone.

So the doctor advised me not to overhead exercise again for lifetime.

is it that I should not take my arm above 90°?
and is the tendinosis reversible?

Having shoulder problems is common for anybody. Shoulder has a lot of freedom and It creates many problems.If you shrug and press, you don't have enough space on joints so It can create damage. In order to work out frequently, preventing injuries should be essential to create progressive overload for long time.

If you have pinching and popping on shoulders, you will have pain sooner or later. There are some injuries which are biceps tendonitis, rotator cuff tendonitis, and bursitis. If you don't pack your scapula and perform movements, you can have those problems. It is impossible to avoid all injuries. However, It is possible to prevent many injuries in advance.

In order to make your shoulder better, working out should be done on a regular basis. Many people stop working out after getting injured. However, just because you don't move your shoulders doesn't mean you remove your problems. What you need to do is to find out what causes problems and fix those.

If you had severe pain, you should stop exercising. And then, doing mobility work must be conducted to make your body ready to work out again. Training mobility helps you to reduce risk of injuries and improve efficiency of workout.
It is common to see elite athletes doing a lot of mobility work before they work out. There are a lot of options on the internet and offline. What you need to do is to pick some movements and see if those work for you.

If you have consistent shoulder pain but don't know how to fix it, hiring a skilled coach should be done. There are a lot of coaches who can't name even bones and nerves. Therefore, you should change your coach If you have problems on your body and those are not getting better.

Woke up n can't lift arm well pushing hard on my stomach helped. Passing it along. Now shoulder burrs. Sit in chair. Hold weight. Make big circles then little now do in reversed. Two weeks n burr was gone. Hope this helps someone.
