Another smack
Can't stand to see you down
Put in a call
Saw through the walls
Can't see to see you down
Categorize the problem size
Turn in and try
Another crack
Another smack
Can't stand to see you
So sorry, why worry
Anything can happen now
Stars crossed out and I know how
The lyrics to 22 Jacks' song So Sorry depict a person who cannot bear to see their loved one sadden from their struggles with addiction. The singer is unable to stand seeing their loved one broken and defeated, and they are motivated to act. They try to reach out and help by calling their loved one and seeing through the walls of their addiction. They cannot tolerate seeing their loved one in such a state and feel a heaviness about the difference in the size of their problems. The singer is infuriated and saddened by these negative effects on their loved one and is determined to do something to help them.
The chorus of the song "So sorry, why worry, anything can happen now, stars crossed out and I know how" expresses the sadness and desperation of the situation, an attempt to console oneself and recognize that anything can happen now. The stars crossed out can signify luck, fate, or potential being taken away due to their situation. Furthermore, the singer is aware of the possible roadblocks that are blocking their path, and they acknowledge that their loved ones' addiction does not necessarily have a happy ending.

Don't know why this record is virtually unfindable now. It's a great punk-pop album. They just never "broke". Which (in my opinion)is for the most part a good thing until you want a copy!
