The group currently consists of seven members: Cory, Kisu, Jeonguk,Changsun, Jinhong, Hongseob and Kiyong. They debuted on September 6, 2012 with the extended play Hurry Up. Partnering up with +Social, 24K had their first European concert in Warsaw, Poland on January 23, 2016 at Progresja Music Zone Main Stage, without Sung-oh. They held a showcase in Malaysia on April 22–24 which was presented by New Pro Star, with Sungoh and Daeil being absent for unknown reasons. On August 1, Choeun Entertainment made an official statement saying that members Daeil and Sungoh would be on hiatus; Sungoh was receiving medical treatment for his dislocated shoulder and Daeil had chosen to take a personal leave, although it was later discovered that Daeil had left the group to debut as a solo artist under the name "BIGONE". The statement also revealed that two new members, Changsun and Hongseob, would be added to continue as a seven-member group. 24K released the digital single "Still 24K" on August 11.
On October 21, 24K returned with their first full-length album titled The Real One containing previously released singles "Secret Love," "Hey You," "Super Fly," "Still 24K" and the title track "Bingo." 24K kicked off their first European tour on January 3, 2017 in Milan, Italy.

Right after their first comeback, Seokjune decided he didn't want to be an idol, so he left. Jeonguk took his spot as a new member (U R So Cute era).
After their U R So Cute comeback, Byungho's secret wife and child was found out about, so he was kicked out.
Choeun Ent not only brought in a new member for his spot, but also brought in another member. Jinhong and Hui made the group into a 7-piece.
They had those seven members for their Hey You and Superfly comebacks.
After those however, Sungoh got a shoulder injury and was put on hiatus.
Daeil was also put on hiatus because of "personal issues".
To fill the two-member gap for their Still 24K/BINGO and Only You comeback, Choeun found Changsun and Hongseob. However, during their Only You promotions, Choeun Ent said Hui had to stay in China due to visa problems and issues between South Korea and China (he's Chinese).
In late November of 2017, Choeun Ent finally came clean about Daeil, Sungoh, and Hui. Daeil had never really been "on hiatus" and had officially left the group to do solo work (his stage name is BIGONE, and he's working with VMC now). Sungoh was just hiding in Choeun's basement, but was entering the military as that letter came out. Hui had actually left the group to go back home. He had not answered any of his bandmate's or Choeun's attempts to reach him. He finally wrote a letter to fans, it's on his Instagram. He spoke about not feeling like he was doing his best, and he wanted to wait to go back into the idol life, to find his best self.
It was also at this time 24K tried out for YG's show, Mixnine. Two members (Jinhong and Changsun) made it through the auditions, but were later eliminated. It was also at this time 24K had an interview, telling the truth about being in the industry for so long with so little recognition. They said the possibility of disbandment is near if they don't get more attention soon.
