Tity Boi AKA 2 Chainz is one half of Playaz Circle along with long time friend Dolla Boy. 2 Chainz played basketball at ASU (Alabama State University) in Montgomery, Alabama. Hailing from the Southside of Atlanta, Playaz Circle came together as a compilation in the late 90’s. They released their debut album, and shortly after that, they were introduced to radio DJ Chris Lova Lova AKA Ludacris through mutual friend Lil' Fate. Unfortunately. shortly after that, 2 Chainz was shot and Dolla was incarcerated. After hearing about their misfortune, Ludacris reached out, offering to sign them. DTP began to form, and 2 Chainz was apart of the label and signed to DTP when Dolla Boy was released.
Throughout his career, Epps received speculation that the name Tity Boi was meant to be derogatory towards women, although he repeatedly denied the accusations,in early 2011 he decided to change his stage name to 2 Chainz as he perceived it to be more "family friendly".

Hate me 'cause I tell you the truth
Maybe your friends are confused
I'm gonna tell you the truth
Go ahead and go
Bailan, bailan, bailan, bailan
Go, bailan, bailan, bailan, bailan
All week, you've been on my mind
Maybe now, but not next time
Going in, going in, going in, going in
There we go, that's it for sure
Going in, going in, going in, going in
Maybe just a little more
Going in, going in, going in, going in
Juicy, squeeze it and then juice it
Sipping on the D'usse
Rocking some Medusa, give a fuck what you say
Give a fuck what you say
In the club, I wrote this for the plug
I wrote this for a hater that was looking for some love
A DJ competition, I'm mixing in the kitchen
Now who gon' do the dishes
Bankroll thicker than Deelishis
You, you, you, you, you
Hate me 'cause I tell you the truth
Maybe your friends are confused
I'm gonna tell you the truth
Go ahead and go
Bailan, bailan, bailan, bailan
Go, bailan, bailan, bailan, bailan
All week, you've been on my mind
Going in, going in, going in, going in
Maybe now, but not next time
Going in, going in, going in, going in
There we go, that's it for sure
Going in, going in, going in, going in
Maybe just a little more
Going in, going in, going in, going in
Drug connotation in my population
I want a conversation, don't want no confrontation
Pull up in a hardtop, watch how I erase it
Trap to the rap, like watch how I embrace it
Louis Vans on, they don't come with laces
And we talking straight shots, we don't need no chaser
Tell her I don't chase her, swap her, I replace it
Bracelet, this is Rollie, Rollie, this is bracelet
Pass the medication
Rounds upon rounds, I am nowhere around
I'm nowhere to be found
I'm on flights over lights, I'm so close up to Christ
I might ask for advice, I might ask for it twice
Look at my ice, I'm so nice, it's like Mardi Gras
Mama I shot me a man, please go hide the gun
When she ask me my number, I say I'm the one
Rushing summer to summer, 'til someone come
You, you, you, you, you
Hate me 'cause I tell you the truth
Maybe your friends are confused
I'm gonna tell you the truth
Go ahead and go
Bailan, bailan, bailan, bailan
Go, bailan, bailan, bailan, bailan
All week, you've been on my mind
Going in, going in, going in, going in
Maybe now, but not next time
Going in, going in, going in, going in
There we go, that's it for sure
Going in, going in, going in, going in
Maybe just a little more
Going in, going in, going in, going in
Go ahead and touch the stars
Go ahead and touch the stars
Dancing where you are
Go ahead and touch the stars
In this song, 2 Chainz and Pharrell Williams address their haters who hate them for telling the truth. The opening lines are expressing the disapproval they're getting from their haters because they're being honest. They explain that the haters' confusion as the reason for why they're getting ridiculed for telling the truth. The chorus of the song, "Bailan," is a Spanish word that means "dance" in English. It's likely that the chorus was included to add a vibrant and infectious beat to the song while encouraging listeners to dance along.
Throughout the song, 2 Chainz and Pharrell describe their lavish lifestyles that include expensive jewelry, partying in the club, and having a thick bankroll. They touch on topics like drug culture, expensive fashion (e.g. Louis Vuitton), and even imply that they have connections to the criminal underworld. Despite their success and affluence, they are still subject to criticism from their haters.
In the last verse, they encourage listeners to reach for their dreams and aspire to greatness. They encourage them to touch the stars and dance wherever they are. It's a call to action to pursue one's dreams and enjoy life's simple pleasures.
