Tity Boi AKA 2 Chainz is one half of Playaz Circle along with long time friend Dolla Boy. 2 Chainz played basketball at ASU (Alabama State University) in Montgomery, Alabama. Hailing from the Southside of Atlanta, Playaz Circle came together as a compilation in the late 90โs. They released their debut album, and shortly after that, they were introduced to radio DJ Chris Lova Lova AKA Ludacris through mutual friend Lil' Fate. Unfortunately. shortly after that, 2 Chainz was shot and Dolla was incarcerated. After hearing about their misfortune, Ludacris reached out, offering to sign them. DTP began to form, and 2 Chainz was apart of the label and signed to DTP when Dolla Boy was released.
Throughout his career, Epps received speculation that the name Tity Boi was meant to be derogatory towards women, although he repeatedly denied the accusations,in early 2011 he decided to change his stage name to 2 Chainz as he perceived it to be more "family friendly".

Where does it stop? (Turn that light down for me)
Where do you dare me to draw the line?
You've got the body, now you want my soul
(Light that bond number nine on the counter)
Don't even think about it, say, no go, yeah
Yeah
(Back and back forth and forth and back and back)
We're vibin' now (forth and back and back and forth)
(Forth and back and back and forth and forth)
Doin' such a good job, I pat myself on the back
Flight confirmation, I cash through the app
Ain't nobody robbin' me, I answer doors with a strap
Anywhere I go, I put the southside on the map
Shorty said she loved me, I said I loved me back (back)
Tried to cuss me out, I ain't goin' for that (peace)

In "Can't go for that," 2 Chainz discusses his desire to avoid certain situations that could potentially be dangerous, as well as his financial success and the problems that come with it. The lyrics "where do you dare me to draw the line?" speaks to the idea that he's not going to do anything he isn't comfortable with or feels may put his health and safety in danger. In the lyrics, he also mentions how he's worked hard to elevate his financial status, as seen in the line "flight confirmation, I cash through the app." This line indicates that he is so financially successful that he doesn't need to use a credit card to book his travel; he has an app that allows him to pay with cash. The chorus of the song emphasizes the idea that he cannot be pressured or coerced into any situation he doesn't want to be in.
Overall, the song seems to be 2 Chainz's statement of independence and self-assurance. He refuses to be controlled by others in any way and reasserts his identity throughout the song. The catchy beat and lyrics make this song a popular club anthem, but it also reveals a deeper message about a need for self-respect and self-awareness.
