In 2008 2P released his second single from the “Death Before Dishonor” album which featured Ray J named “You Know Me” (Video / Listen / Mediabase History ).

In 2009 after a mutual split up with Justice League / Universal Republic, 2p released the single “Lights Low” (Video / Listen / Mediabase History) independently and instantly made noise at radio. Cash Money came in and signed 2P. He spent a couple of years on Cash Money with the label not releasing any music on 2P. After sitting for years 2P requested a release from the label and he was granted his release papers.

Since leaving Cash Money, 2P has been doing everything independently releasing the record “Private Dancer” (Video / Listen / Mediabase History ) in 2011 Which got national air play. In the past year 2P has released “I Don’t Care” ft 2 Chainz ( Video / Listen / Mediabase History ) and most recently “All I Know” ft French Montana & Joell Ortiz ( Video / Listen / Mediabase History ) as well as having another version with legendary Talib Kweli instead of Joell Ortiz. Both records have also received national airplay.

In September of 2012, 2P released his second album “Arrogant” as a free street album on Datpiff.com & LiveMixtapes.com. On Both sites “Arrogant”, which features 2 Chainz, Barrington Levy, Verse Simmonds, Trae Tha Truth, Fred The Godson, Stuey Rock, and more has done extremely well.
