This song has deep meaning. It's about war. It sings about a night raid and how they waited till dawn to attack. It sings how war takes a part of your soul along with the lives you have taken and that any immaturity or childhood left within you, dies because you're forced to "eat your youth" to bulk up for the task at hand. He says that anybody would do it, if it meant survival. The soldiers traveled through hell and back and only live to take lives. No disrespect meant. Expressing the feeling
