the amazing thing about this 311 song is that Nick is talking about his dream to have great success beyond any sort of sustainable way. he says in Music that he does not value wealthy success, which brings about the question of what his dream is. I think that his true dream is to bring his band's proverbs to the world. This song was composed and recorded in a very special and unique time in these people's lives and, for that reason, it is my favorite 311 song. You can really feel the uncertainty of their future success, while riding on their momentum at this point in time. Truly amazing. Few songs have such an impact.

The first night our newborn son was home from the hospital he was up crying so I tried everything I could think of to calm him down. Then, I put this song on and and that 3 day old boy quieted right down. 311 fan from the get go!

I was listening to this song with my 6 year old daughter tonight and she comes up to me and just says HEAD RUSH lol. That was her way of saying put on sick tight lol 311 diehard already

@@j0hnb1aze I'm actually kinda mad at them right now lol our 2020 date got canceled for covid and when they reinstated the tour, they didn't include us. Beat! I'll get over it haha but it has put a damper on being in the mood for their music.
My kid is 8 now and I'd say she listens to 311 even more than I do lately. Her favorite albums are DEFINATELY music and blue. We both find the same 2 albums to be the turds of their discography also (DTOM, uplifter) lol 90% of the time she asks for the music album haha but she's absolutely still a fan. If they come here next summer...I'm from the Pittsburgh area...maybe I'll take her. She's weird about loud sound but we'll squash that in due time! Have a good one, bro!
