Don't Trust Me
3OH!3 Lyrics

I got the breath of the last cigarette on my teeth,
And she's an actress (actress)
But she ain't got no need
She's got money from her parents in a trust fund back east
T-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks
While my tongue is on the inside of some other girls teeth
That I'm a vegetarian and I ain't fucking scared of him
She wants to touch me (whoa)
She wants to love me (whoa)
She'll never leave me (whoa, whoa, oh, oh)
Don't trust a ho
Never trust a ho
'Cause a hoe won't trust me
She wants to touch me (whoa)
She wants to love me (whoa)
She'll never leave me (whoa, whoa, oh, oh)
Don't trust a ho
Never trust a ho
'Cause a hoe won't trust me
X's on the back of your hands
Wash them in the bathroom to drink like the bands
And your set list (set list)
You stole off the stage
Had red and purple lipstick all over the page
Be-be-be-bruises cover your arms
Shaking in the fingers with the bottle in your palm
And the best is (best is)
No one knows who you are
Just another girl alone at the bar
She wants to touch me (whoa)
She wants to love me (whoa)
She'll never leave me (whoa, whoa, oh, oh)
Don't trust a ho
Never trust a ho
Cause a hoe won't trust me
She wants to touch me (whoa)
She wants to love me (whoa)
She'll never leave me (whoa, whoa, oh, oh)
Don't trust a ho
Never trust a ho
'Cause a hoe won't trust me
Shush girl shut your lips
Do the Helen Keller and talk with your hips
I said, Shush girl shut your lips
Do the Helen Keller and talk with your hips
I said, Shush girl shut your lips
Do the Helen Keller and talk with your hips
Whoa, whoa, whoa
She wants to touch me (whoa)
She wants to love me (whoa)
She'll never leave me (whoa, whoa, oh, oh)
Don't trust a ho
Never trust a ho
'Cause a hoe won't trust me
She wants to touch me (whoa)
She wants to love me (whoa)
She'll never leave me (whoa, whoa, oh, oh)
Don't trust a ho
Never trust a ho
'Cause a hoe won't trust me
The lyrics of 3OH!3's song "DONTTRUSTME" describe the shallow and promiscuous lifestyle of a girl who is wearing a black dress with tights underneath. She's an actress who doesn't need to work hard because she receives money from her parents back east in a trust fund. The singer describes how he has been with other girls, and that she should tell her boyfriend that he's not afraid of him. The girl wants to touch and love the singer, but he warns not to trust her because he knows she won't trust him.
The second verse of the song continues to describe the girl's lifestyle. She has x's on the back of her hands, which are remnants of a club event, and she washes them in the bathroom to drink like the bands. She has stolen the set list with lipstick all over it, and her arms are covered in bruises from partying too hard. The girl is alone at the bar, and no one really knows who she is.
In the chorus, the singer repeats the warning of not trusting this promiscuous girl, and she continues to want to touch and love him. The bridge tells the girl to be quiet, and to "do the Helen Keller" and talk with her hips, revealing the shallow nature of their conversation.
Overall, "DONTTRUSTME" is a song that highlights the shallow and promiscuous lifestyle of some individuals, but also points towards the way society treats those with a privileged background. The song warns against trusting individuals who live this lifestyle and encourages individuals to be aware of the harm caused by them.

silas maclachlan True, I wasn't in that scene/emo phase myself but the people I hung out with where like that. As well as other scenes like the hip hop people.
To be distastefully honest, there was my white friends that were scene/emo, my black friends that were into hip hop and uk grime, and there was a group of inbetweens.
But the thing we all had in common was that any time there was a party, everyone was invited, skin colour/style/music taste was not an issue if someone had a free house and was throwing a party. Life was simple back then.
But the reason it was good is because we had no fear. Our only responsibility were end of year exams, which no one really cared about anyways. Now we have college/uni/jobs/bills/worrying about the future. Adulthood sucks.
