The members are rooted in Bilad Al-Sham, spanning the divides from Amman to the Galilee, the Golan Heights to Ramallah (Palestin). This new sound of 47SOUL has rapidly amassed fans in the Middle East and Europe by blasting the electric Arabic debka sound through underground music scenes.
On top of the beats that have been bumping in the Middle East for centuries, 47SOUL hypes it up with analog synthesizers, hypnotic guitar lines, and shattering verses from the four singers. Every show ends in relentless dance and trance from all parties involved.
Their lyrics, mixing Arabic and English, call for celebration and freedom in the struggle for equality, inside Bilad Al Sham and throughout the world.

i remember your swagger from the photos you dropped
meet me at the clouds i'll unravel your suit
catch the beat up like you catching a cold
i moved the floor you were no where at all
the club is a trap for a lover
but we sajal 3la tape till it don't matter
ميلي علي الليلة ننزل على صف الشام ستب.
و على صف الشام ستب، لسجل على الكاسيت تييب،
و قللك غيرك ما بحب، و يا أم عيون الكحيلة.
where do you go, where do you go
The lyrics of 47Soul’s song Don’t Care Where You From speak to the idea of not being defined by one’s background or place of origin. The opening lines set the tone for the song, with the singer claiming to have “no motivation for anyone new.” This can be interpreted as a rejection of the traditional ways of categorizing people by their origins or affiliations.
The following lines offer a glimpse into the singer’s past encounters with someone who exuded confidence and style, as seen in their “swagger” from “photos” they had seen. The resultant invitation to “meet me at the clouds,” is a metaphorical call to rise above societal limitations and constraints, and to celebrate one’s true self. The lines “catch the beat up like you catching a cold / I moved the floor you were no where at all” could be interpreted as a challenge to the listener to rise up to the same level of energy and vibrancy that the singer possesses.
The lyrics also incorporate the phrase “sajal 3la tape,” which translates to “recorded on tape.” The phrase is repeated in the chorus, along with the line “where do you go.” Taken together, the lyrics appear to be an invitation to join in on a celebration of life and a rejection of preconceived societal roles.
Overall, Don’t Care Where You From is an anthem for individuality and the celebration of diversity.

you from
No, you might be from Philly or Tripoli
From the mountains or the sea
I don’t care where you from, where you from
Maybe got the keys to your city
Don’t mean anything to me
I don’t care where you from , where you from
Where you at
أنا ما بتفرق عندي يا حلوة أهلك من وين
من الجليل أو من النقب و لا من صحراء العرب
I don’t care where you from , where you from
كنتوا من أهل البلد ولا سكنتوا بالغلط
I don’t care where you from , where you from
Where you at?
