Zero
54 Lyrics

Deliverance and paradise
slip through the hole in your head.
Your tranquillity is touching.
You are perfect; -dead.
The outmost cleanliness
unstained by the sin of your soul.
You face seems at rest, unworried,
your skin so fresh and cold.

The pumping rain fades the word,
the winter fades the bullet's kiss.
A perfect is loud but unheard;
only for me, only I see this.

Snowflakes gather themselves
on your coagulated fluids;
for once they don't melt;
you're holy now; a druid.
Again you intertwine with the world,
once again you're home.
You're alive, undying, golden, you're gilded.
You are chrome.

Zero, and the end is near.
You know I will meet you there.
Every number is rotting.
The great Lorentz' attractor
as well shall end in nothing.

What ran down your face like a UPC
grew umbra and dark in the wind.
Only this way can you be complete;
red down your face in thicks and thins.
I see the galaxy, the universe unfold;
confessions from a god's death bed.
Red dwarves and white blood cells grow cold
oozing from the red black hole in your head.

And the warm wet circle ends in nothing,
I will meet you there.
The only number that isn't rotting;
Zero, the ending is near.

Zero, the ending is near,
I will meet you there.
It ends; -nothing.
–Nothing, still rotting.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of 54's song "Zero" are cryptic and complex, requiring careful analysis to uncover their true meaning. At its core, the song is about death and the transition from life to the afterlife. The opening lines ("Deliverance and paradise/slip through the hole in your head") refer to the moment of death, which is when the soul is released from the body and begins the journey into the afterlife. The reference to "the hole in your head" implies the physical act of dying, as the lyrics describe the body becoming still and lifeless.

The next verse ("The outmost cleanliness/unstained by the sin of your soul") suggests that death is the ultimate purification, as the soul is released from the physical world and becomes free of earthly influences. The chorus ("Zero, and the end is near/You know I will meet you there") underscores the theme of death, suggesting that the singer is anticipating their own death and looking forward to a reunion with the deceased.

The subsequent verses describe the transition from life to death in more detail. The line "Snowflakes gather themselves/on your coagulated fluids" is a metaphor for the soul departing the body, with the snowflakes representing the spiritual essence of the deceased. The line "the great Lorentz' attractor/as well shall end in nothing" suggests that even the forces of the universe are subject to death and decay, underscoring the inevitability and finality of death.

Overall, "Zero" is a complex and poetic meditation on death and the afterlife, filled with metaphors and allusions that require careful consideration to fully understand.

Awesome video, we will definitely need a one year update on it.

To be honest I wish Ryobi and Ego would work on robotic lawnmowers, I'm over mowing the lawn. I feel like the robo mower market is the future

Tool Review Zone

That would be fantastic actually. I've seen those smaller mowers that stay withing a boundary, but I would imagine they are for very small yards

Kyle Fowler

@Tool Review Zone I've looked into it and if you pay enough they can work on up to an acre or even more if you pay enough. I think more development is still needed as currently they require a boundary wire and are expensive as crap haha

I actually enjoy mowing! It’s a half decent “workout”, put my earbuds in and relax a bit. However, I wouldn’t mind if it could be done essentially automatically.
Edit: I push mow

I use the Gardena 16000 sqft robotic mower and I love it but I do wish the cut height was higher. It's highest cut height is still too low for my Texas lawn where I would prefer slightly taller grass for drought resistance and providing shade to other blades of grass.

Matthew Milburn

I saw the bigger width mowers at Home Depot for $4999 so the price definitely came down. I’m curious as to how the mower can hold up and what could be some downsides if it needed to be washed..

Very cool! Just purchased a 30" for my smaller lot, can't wait to try it out! 🙂

Mike M

I have the 30" and love it, little beast!

Good point about keeping your Dew arm free! I would love this for my big back yard, but my bank account says no :( Great video, thanks for bringing this stuff to us!

Tool Review Zone

Unfortunately, they price is still pretty high. That said, I forget about it when chugging two dewa at the same time while mowing 😎
