In 2006 they record their demo "America", and perform in various venues in Monterrey's underground scene. In 2008 they decide to go and record “Los Emigrantes”, a better quality album. This album catapults 60 Tigres internacionally and makes them part of the line-up of festivals such as South By Southwest 2008 and 2009 (Austin, TX), MySpace Latino Festival (Chicago, IL), SPI Music Fest (Isla del Padre, TX), NACOTHEQUE (Houston, TX), Automático (Los Angeles, CA), and Hellow Fest (Monterrey, NL). Also, they start giging on bigger venues such as El Imperial (México, DF), The Compound (Austin, TX), The Mink (Chicago, IL), among others.
At the end of 2009 they start recording their 2nd album “Garage”, produced by Maurizio Terracina (ex-Zurdok, The Volture)

Viene cerca y sale de mi piel
Sólo somos un motivo más
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
Sólo somos un destino más
El motivo es un destino
Viene cerca y sale de mi piel
Sólo somos un motivo más
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
Sólo somos un destino más
Mi corazón está girando
Mi corazón está soñando
Mi corazón escuchalo
Mi corazón está girando
Mi corazón está soñando
Mi corazón escuchalo
Mi corazón está girando
Mi corazón está soñando
Mi corazón escuchalo
Mi corazón está girando
Mi corazón está soñando
Mi corazón escuchalo
Mi corazón está girando
Mi corazón está soñando
Mi corazón escuchalo
El motivo es un destino
Viene cerca y sale de mi piel
Sólo somos un motivo más
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!
¡Y más!

Sólo somos un destino más
The lyrics to 60 Tigres's song "El Motivo" speak to the idea that there is a higher purpose or destiny that drives our actions and decisions. The phrase "El motivo es un destino" translates to "The reason is a destiny," which suggests that our motivation for doing things is predetermined by some force beyond our control. The repetition of "sólo somos un motivo más" emphasizes the idea that we are just one small piece in the bigger puzzle of life, and that our individual motivations are insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
The lines "Mi corazón está girando / Mi corazón está soñando / Mi corazón escuchalo" allude to the idea that our hearts and emotions are also influenced by this higher destiny. The heart is seen as a vital organ that responds to the call of this higher purpose, spinning and dreaming in response to its influence. The repeated plea to "escuchalo" (listen to it) suggests that we must pay attention to our intuition and heart in order to understand and follow this greater destiny.
Overall, "El Motivo" speaks to the idea that we should trust in the path that our destiny has laid out for us, and that we should listen to our hearts in order to understand and follow it.
