Marco Arellano so your opinion comes based off of the fact that you don’t like to notch a truck when it’s lowered? I think anyone that really knows trucks will tell you that this bodystyle will look the lowest with just a 5/7 drop compared to Let’s say an OBS or an NNBS..I’ve had 3 OBS’s and you do need a notch at 6 inches or it’ll ride like shit..sorry, short shocks or not it’ll bottom out and ride like CRAAAPPP!
Some people just don’t like to cut the frame but if that’s the case you better off not even lowering it or being into lowered trucks to begin with tbh..and not sure where you get that lowered trucks don’t handle good 😂 they handle better lowered than they do stock height or lifted..hence why they all have an altered suspension when it comes to speed and handling competitions..if your opinion is going off of “how low you can drop a truck without notching it” then yea cateyes will have an less than inch of clearance between the frame and the diff at just 5 inches of drop so they will need to be Notched but that just means it’s getting lower quicker and easier..notching should be be an issue things become an issue when you start having to tub firewalls or channeling a cabs for the driveshaft..those are unpleasant things not a bolt on notch that can be put on in the driveway in under an hour
