Antron and long time friend Lazan Banks (aka L. Breezy) formed a band named BloodSun (1998).
The songs of which were heavily influenced by electro-industrial-rock. After 4 years they disbanned and formed solo projects.
8-bit Suicide carries on the Dirty South Hip-hop, Electro, Industrial, and Rock combination even after BloodSun's demise.
Antron 2600 has also been the producer and co-founder of The Unpleasantries, which he then quit to work on 8-bit Suicide full time.

@Nina Nickel I went to high school the year after Columbine, in Colorado, about an hour away from the location of the shooting. I can assure you that the nerds and outcasts were treated with a great deal of extra suspicion (on top of the normal amount) for at least a couple years afterward, especially the ones who wore trench coats, baggy canvas rain coats, and/or the baggy JNCO jeans.

It’s sad that loners, introverts, or outcasts were and are blamed and stereotyped as likely school shooters. This video just proved that a person can be social and still be a murder. As someone who just graduated from high school and spent one month with a teacher in elementary, the stuff that kids, some who were very social, shared with us was really alarming. That’s why schools should be doing more in investing in quality mental well-being for all students especially during this time when people are becoming more attached to their phones and it’s easier to fall into a toxic community online.

As a resident of Aurora in 8th grade, I will never, ever forget that day. All the victims suffered horribly, both the dead and the survivors.I worked with a Columbine survivor years ago, and she had recurring panic attacks and couldn’t go into crowded places. I hope she and all the other survivors and families have found a level of healing.

I don't empathize with the Principal because he denies its shared responsibility but it was his responsibility to guarantee a safe environment in his school. There are many testimonies from students who said that bullying was never punished. Drugs and alcohol were consumed and there was an inequality of consideration between athletes and other students. This tragedy is so sad. So many lives lost because of people who didn't do their job properly.

There’s a film clip of the library part of the shooting (recreation of course) and it lasts as long as the real shooting lasted. It also includes actual quotes from the shooters, spoken by actors portraying them, and recognizes the victims as they are killed. It’s terrifying but opens your eyes to what that school went though that day. It makes you really feel it.

The teacher trying to protect her children gave me chills. I shed a tear imagining how terrified she must have been. It takes true strength to take the lead in such an unforeseen tragic event. school shootings have been one of my worst fears since i was in elementary school (i’m currently a junior in hs.) during my freshman year, my school had a gun scare in which a student had threatened another by saying she’d shoot him & posted her gun on social media. when we went into lockdown it seemed that nobody cared and took it as a joke. the simple fact that she (a 17 year old) was able to get ahold of a gun is astonishing. the fact that her friends and students at my school called the boy who reported her a snitch is disgusting. it seems we still haven’t learned from the past and continue to turn a blind eye on the fact that these people have access to machines made for killing. mental health needs to be taken seriously. tighter gun laws are important. these things must change and be confronted in order to save future lives.

I went to Columbine and I was bullied by the jocks and others like them. They were not nice. Did they deserve to die, no. But you never know how someone will deal with their inside pain. Erics mother held a conference a few years back. She talked about how conflicted she feels. She lost her child, but her child took others children from them. She talks about how she feels partly responsible, but also how she feels that in the eyes of others, she shouldn't be allowed to grieve her sons death. I know those parents probably wanted someone to blame for their kids deaths, and since the shooters were dead, they went after the shooters families. I can't imagine the pain and guilt their mothers and fathers feel every day, and for something that was not their faults.

The youngest victim was 14-year-old Steve Curnow, who was a Star Wars fan and was very excited about seeing The Phantom Menace in 25th May. He never got to see it. He was shot in the neck and face by Eric with a huge shotgun.

I like the final thoughts in this video about not letting the fear run their lives. I can't even begin to know what it's like living through a school shooting. But I was abused all through my childhood both mentally and physically by my alcoholic father. And much of my late teens and early adult life I used that as an excuse to be reckless and used it to rationalize my drug addiction. If we let past traumas rule our lives, it gets us nowhere. I know it's easier said then done but there's things you can do to help you get there eventually. One of the things for me was writing a letter to my dad from jail forgiving him for what he did to me. It wasn't for him, it was for me. But I needed to let go of it and that one thing really propelled me to start changing the path I was on. And this can be relatable to a lot of things we go through on a daily basis throughout our lives. Some things just aren't worth holding onto, especially if they serve no purpose in your life. I'll never forget the things my dad did to me. But I refuse to let it in any way shape or form affect my life now. It's just not worth it. Be well everyone!🙏

I was in a group of guys who played video games and D&D, we were the “freaks” at our high school. Not so much outcasts but definitely embraced being different. I was a sophomore in HS when this happened. Really sad to remember this and see it still having an impact on our kids now.

I'm 30 and though not an American, this case affected me deeply when I read about it, I kind of got obsessed. Despite what people may think of me, I always knew I was very different from these two evil teens and I was just in need of psychological attention and so did I receive it, sometimes with admissions. It hurt a lot, but I'm proudly free of them. Sad this trend is upwards in the USA.

This makes me sick. I couldn’t imagine what those kids who lost their lives that day were thinking. They probably had big dreams and couldn’t wait to get out of high school. Couldn’t wait to start families, get their dream jobs. Each and every one of the students who went to school that day thought it was just going to be another day, waiting for each class to end to get closer to the end of the day to do the activities they planned after school, but instead they went through the most traumatic experience of their lives and some even losing them. I couldn’t imagine what I could feel like in their situation. My heart goes out to each and every victims families and souls may they rest peacefully. And to the Families of Dylan and Eric... this not your fault. Your sons were mentally sick and unstable. You couldn’t have known about their intentions do not take the guilt of your sons. You did not commit the crime they did.

Another thing, Mental instability, crime and suicide are one of the worst things that as a society we can push people to. Most brain damage is reversible with proper treatment and modern day psychology hasn't changed much in the last 150 years and refuses to acknowledge some of the latest advances. I was in 6th grade when a school shooting happened at my rival high school. We randomly got put into lockdown and it lasted for hours and no one had any reason why or what was going on until hours later we learned that someone shot up the school and murdered the principle and a few classmates. These situations are devastating and it breaks my heart that it keeps occurring around the United States and the world. Please be sure to treat everyone nicely and with respect because you never know what they’re going through. RIP to all the victims of school shootings over the years, it breaks my heart.

I will never forget watching this unfold. I had just graduated hs in 97... the frustration I felt about the swat not going in is still palpable. And how they twisted it to some dark group and the music and video games.... disgusting. I'm glad we have come a long way, however, we need to go farther.
Then I saw the Amish schoolhouse shooting, happened 20 mins from where I live.
My son was one year away from starting kindergarten when sandy hook happened. That one really shook me... I sat there and stared at my Christmas tree and thought of all the parents who had all their presents wrapped for their lil ones... that was the moment I had to really think if schools were safe anymore. When he did start school and they did intruder drills, that really scared him...

I think this video is a pretty good synopsis. While we as a society should definitely take precautions (ie., better background checks for gun purchasers, more security on campuses, focusing more on mental illnesses), most of the time these tragedies defy explanation. You can't rationalize the irrational and bring sanity to the insane.

I was born on April 19 the day before, at Lutheran. Which for those that don’t know is in wheat Ridge. My dad told me how he felt and what was going through his head, while holding new born me in the hospital,while watching the live news on the shooting. What he said still haunts me 2 years later and will forever haunt me. While he was telling me this he started to cry heavily. Out of the 23 years I have been alive, he has only told me this once.
This changed history and society. My dad knew I would have to grow up in this society. It was so haunting.

Dave takes the fiction out of this: from untrue allegations of bullying to reports these two were members of TrenchCoat Mafia Dave re-inserts the facts into this case. My cousin died in a school shooting. So to watch documentaries and understand different stories and incidents make me want to help people. I now work in the psychology field. I was majorly bullied as a kid. But never once did I think of killing others. To keep my privacy in check I won't tell you where, but my cousin and her best friend died at a school shooting so to see some of these comments making jokes about it or not taking it seriously hits hard. It's just the internet but when you lose family to something like this it becomes all too real. I'm late to this video. But slowly over the years I use documentaries of terrible incidents in history to cope and learn from in hopes I can help others survive or maybe potentionally stop future Killers or killings. I'm no hero. But I have a goal. I want to spread love around as much as possible in hopes of some pain being avoided. One of my biggest escapes from realities has been videogames. But sometimes I need to sit down and watch something like this to learn about the pain these incidents actually cause. I was lucky I wasn't at school. Others aren't. And sadly these cases increase wildly. I just hope eventually there will be easier and easier ways to avoid it. I'm lucky to not be a victim. I was out sick for a week. Looking back I realize how horrible this was. And how horrible things like this is. And I use columbine as a method to learn. To teach others about survival. If I get this job at the highschool, I am planning a course to help people. I believe we need to have a course dedicated to understanding school shootings and how to avoid them. Because drills aren't enough. When you go to the school, and the shooter potentionally is there learning how to counter this, you realize that isn't enough to avoid the shootings. Sadly it's the world we live in. But hopefully one day all schools will take a major step in precautions. Ps. No it was not columbine and I would appreciate the respect that you guys can give on not trying to guess. This is to protect my privacy and those of the victims since this is a public comment by me. The reason people remember the names of the killers and not the victims is because anyone can be a victim, but there's something in the killer that sets them apart from everyone else and that's what people are fixated on. People by nature identify the source of a threat and internalize it to keep themselves safe. This doesn't go away once the threat is no longer there. This type of event causes a traumatic ripple affect and we want to be able to identify any future threats. The best way to do that is to remember what caused the pain.

I first learned about this because the middle school I went to commemorated it in spring of 2009 and every day since then my school morning announcements would annoyingly always start with, "Rachel's challenge for today is..." since some girl by the name of Rachel was one of the victims that died in the shooting. My dad was a 25 year member of the Chicago PD (Inspector/detective for 19) and had a close friend who worked with the Colorado Bureau of the F.B.I..... They talked about this case and after extensively investigating this crime for about 36 months The F.B.I came to the conclusion that the biggest urban legend and myth was Harris & Klebold were often bullied prior to this rampage.. The opposite in fact happened. --- --- It was Klebold and Harris (Especially Harris) who bullied others.. The behaviour science unit believed Harris was a clinical psychopath and was adept even at a young age of making himself look like a victim .

Thank you for sharing about Columbine. Can't believe librarian told children to hide under tables. But we do know that law enforcement heard shots fired and exploding ammo. Law enforcement didn't help students in the library. The library was the unsafest part of the school. The librarian hid under her desk. The law enforcement should have stormed inside the school, located shooters, and stopped the killing. But hindsight is always easy to judge. But law enforcement did learn and had changed their tactics. Law enforcement now enters the building of schools where shooting is happening immediately. Gets students to safety and locate gunman to take them out and disarm them.

It is a very frightening situation. You never know WHO it truly is that you're dealing with. The one thing I have learned through the years is that the majority of people have more acquaintances than friends.The same as animals, they huddle together for warmth. That is a very unstable foundation for any relationship.

It sickens me hearing the media just throw out bullying or being an outcast as possible reasons for why this occurred in the first place. As well as this, in no way would I empathize with a monster who would take such actions like that but it’s really disgusting to just hear people try to disprove those things as reasons. Any school shooter I’ve ever heard about has either been an outcast, or bullied by everybody else in school.

I had family who attended columbine during this horrific act . Sad thing is nothing has changed in society since this happened . It’s only gotten worse

this is actually so unfortunate and sad, those shooters are heartless monsters, bullying is a problem but shooting up a school is not going to help and the fact that shootings are still happening in the usa is actually really sad. i couldnt imagine how those students felt at that moment, i wouldnt wish this upon any body

I live in a town that just had a school shooting about 6 weeks ago. You hear about school shootings, but you never think it will happen in the school you go/went to. For some reason, this resonates different now, than it would've before.

@The Hooded Claw When did he say that Dylan wasn't sadistic? It was confirmed that Dylan was in fact suicidal. The comment wasn't justifying Dylan, it was just reflecting on the duo's mechanics. Calm down.

eric had patterns of suicidal behavior... it’s not black and white. they were both very sick in the head and were not given the help needed. so sad that this could’ve been prevented.

I live in Australia. We have never had a school massacre. In 1996 (26 years ago) our worst massacre 35 adults and children died. We had a gun buy back. We haven't had another. I feel for the families and friends. I witnessed my Mother's murder. Also by a gun, he was a farmer and could own a gun.
