Krs , Wu-Tang Clan y Mobb Deep
Escuchando a Tu Pac, Doble V y Vico
The lyrics of A.D.A.C. 8286's song "Old School" are an ode to the artist's love for rap music and its influence on his life. The music that he listened to growing up allowed him to soar high and set his mind free from the constraints of reality. He reflects on his early days when he thought life was like a novel, and how he fell in love with rap music at the age of 12. He speaks of the impact Eminem had on him and how he was influenced by the movie "8 Mile", which led him to start making his own music and freestyling.
He also references many iconic hip-hop groups and artists such as KRS, Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Vico C, Zenit, Roockie, Mexicano, and Tempo. These musicians helped shape his musical taste and inspired him to make his own music. The artist mentions how he found solace in the melodies that spoke to his soul and how he was drawn to the genre because it connected his mind, body, and spirit. He speaks of how he and his friends worked hard to make a name for themselves in the hip-hop world, taking on challenges, accepting proposals, and making music that represented their love for the genre.
In conclusion, "Old School" is a tribute to the music that shaped A.D.A.C. 8286's early years, and how it continues to influence his life to this day. The lyrics portray the artist's deep love for the genre and his unrelenting passion for making music that reflects his connection to it.
