Allah Rakha Rahman (Tamil: ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான்); born on January 6, 1966 as A. S. Dileep Kumar in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India) is a composer, best known for composing film scores and soundtracks.
His finest works have been showcased in films like Maniratnam's Alaipayuthe, Iruvar, Rang de Basanti and the recently released, critically acclaimed, Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire for which he has already bagged a Golden Globe and has been nominated for 3 Oscars including best original score.
