The Diary
A. C. T Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I guess I'm just agitated
Tired of having shit where my brain And it's fucking up my patience
And I'm sorry to my girl that I haven't even made it
But this shit takes patience
Diamonds need pressure matrix
But hold on watch how I shape it
Watch how I frame it
I could tell you stories About the time I was down bad you were really Laugh
I can tell you stories about the time that she really shook that ass for your boy
I could tell you stories about the time we was lying up and she really laughed
I could tell you stories about the time I propose she forever be my Last

That shit gives me hope
Karma is that one bitch I choose not to provoke

Overall Meaning

In the first paragraph, the lyrics express a feeling of agitation and frustration. The singer is tired of having thoughts and concerns constantly swirling in their mind, which is affecting their patience. They also apologize to their significant other for not being present and attentive in their relationship, acknowledging that patience is required for personal growth and development. The reference to diamonds needing pressure matrix suggests that patience and perseverance are necessary for transformation and success.

Moving on to the second paragraph, the lyrics hint at the storytelling nature of the song. The singer claims that they can share various stories with the listener. One story involves a time when they were in a difficult situation, and the listener seemingly found it amusing. Another story revolves around a moment when someone, possibly the singer's partner, danced provocatively for them. Lastly, there is a memory of a shared laughter-filled moment with someone. These stories serve to highlight different experiences and emotions in the singer's life.

The third paragraph introduces a more positive tone as the singer talks about proposing to someone and hoping for a future together. This event seems to bring a sense of optimism and motivation, fueling the singer's belief in the possibility of a lasting relationship. The proposal represents a significant commitment and symbolizes their desire to share their lives with this person.

Finally, the lyrics touch upon the concept of karma. The singer acknowledges that they consciously choose not to provoke karma, indicating a recognition of the consequences that come with negative actions. This line suggests a level of maturity and a desire to avoid creating unnecessary problems or conflicts, potentially relating to their relationship or personal life. It reflects an understanding that one's actions can come back to them in unexpected ways.

It’s so sad how only the father survived, I can’t imagine how it felt for him. But, without him, we wouldn’t have known Anne’s story.

Mighty Cat

That was not check mate at the end there was two nazes vs like seven jews they could have easily gotten out of that one.brettmyrter tell me why they couldn’t have won.

BANKS

@Mighty Cat don’t u think if they could’ve they would’ve?

Gianco Castillo

@Mighty Cat It was like 5 nazis that were armed, and 2 of the jews were girls, 2 more where women and 1 more was a boy, so it wouldve been like 3 adult men and 1 boy vs armed nazis.

Shrazowski

@Mighty Cat besides if they threw themselves at the nazis, the nazis would have fired instantly, and probably wounded or killed the members of the secret annex. Theres a chance that they could have won, but the casualties would be too disastrous. Besides the gunshots would have alerted everyone in the area.

@Shrazowski
They wouldn’t win with me if I went back in time to the war. Even my family tried

It’s absolutely amazing how well lived Anne’s words are/were. “I want to go on living even after my death” and she truly did/is.

Acielet

henrietta richey

Caroline Bergin

I don’t know for sure what happens after a person dies but I do know Anne isn’t in danger anymore she’s just moved on. And her stories will always be a part of this world
