Fifteen
A.i.N Lyrics

Hate your friends
'cause they're the only ones that make you want to die
And they make their scene the priss and preen
They'll never get it right
The mirror on the living room wall
Ain't been too kind since you hit grade four
But honestly, the last thing he'll say tonight
Just put your things away, you know its just not your time

He's the boy you got
He's the ticket stub that never won a prize
And and there's no hard sell 'cause he's got a face
Came straight from a fight

But he answers we he calls
And he's under six feet tall
But honestly, the last thing he'll say tonight
Just put your things away, you know its just not your time

He's big and dumb like a dagwood dog
He's jeans never fit quite right
But there's a razor blade cut
And a feeling in your gut that says
There ain't no way to disguise it

Hate your friends
'cause they're the only ones that make you want to die
And they make their scene the priss and preen
They'll never get it right

The ones who shine so bright
Are made or broke come Friday night
But honestly, the last thing he'll say tonight
Just put your things away, you know its just not your

He's big and dumb like a dagwood dog
He's jeans never fit quite right
But there's a razor blade cut
And a feeling in your gut that says
There ain't no way to disguise it

But honestly, the last thing he'll say tonight

Just put your things away, you know its just not your time
That's the way, we're gonna get it right

Overall Meaning

The song "Fifteen" by A.i.N. explores the complicated emotions and frustrations that a teenager may experience. The lyrics express the feeling of being misunderstood and alienated by one's peers. The singer hates their friends because they believe that they are the only ones who truly make them want to die, and they never get it right. They make their own scene, the priss and preen, and it seems as though they are stuck in their ways.

The lyrics also reference the mirror on the living room wall, which hasn't been too kind since grade four. This implies that the singer has struggled with self-image and self-esteem for quite some time. The person's lover, who is described as big and dumb like a dagwood dog, has a face that came straight from a fight and is under six feet tall. They are not perfect, but they are there to answer the calls and be supportive of the singer.

The overarching message of the song is a reassurance that the person's time will come, and they must be patient and put their things away because it is not their time. It is a reminder that things will eventually get better, and that the struggles and hardships of youth are temporary.

No matter what shit somebody enjoy playing during their lives, if you listen to the same great music then you both probably have same good stances inside, besides of shit and stupidity in each other that might came up as violence, agression or depression etc.. I mean, people are not stupid at the "starting point" of their dreams, they know what they want and they want the same things like everybody else, but not all of them know how to make it or to get it, or just have been taught by different methods and views from their surroundings. And music like this is not for telling people to spred shit on each others, which is not a natural thing, but to kick their asses and show that we all the same and don't be fucking afraid of someone acting like an idiot cause you both need the same things to feel happy living.
