I’m so confused at those prices. In Germany those tiny $7 palettes are 16€. Here bh cosmetics is sold in drugstores but usually doesn’t leave the shelves because it’s too expensive.

True. Back in the day bh cosmetics was really affordable, but only sold online. Nowadays since they started to sell trough drugstore and Collab more and more with IG Influencers it got really expensive. Not a fan tbh.

she made those 3 posts about the line and then kept it moving, it’s clear she had no say or involvement in the line. imo the iggy collab is what the doja collection should have been. it’s honestly really weird compared to their collab with iggy azalea. iggy was supposed to come out with 1-3 products if i’m not mistaken.. but she mentioned that because she was so excited throughout the process she got carried away brainstorming different products, so they ended up expanding and bh gave her a lot more creative control than they had originally planned.

Bh cosmetics really improved their formula over the past couple of years and their travel and brunch themed palettes are amazing. Sadly the doja cat collab didn't have that amazing formula. They must have cut corners.

I still have and use and love my Niki Tutorials BH pallet. The shimmers are a lill messy but beautiful! And the mattes are very intense but also very easy to use. There are a couple colors that I'm seriously going to be upset to use up because they are such perfect every day transition colors and I don't have anything thats quite as perfect for me.

Bh Cosmetics eyeshadow formula easily became my favorite formula. The travel and brunch series palettes, along with the birthstone collection and the ones with the curse words on the front were excellent. For some reason, bhc had a few different formulas and that left customers confused. Bhc made so many bad moves. Whoever was running things the past few years seemed intent on sending this company into bankruptcy.

I would argue that the quality is not a testament to BH being around for so long, just a testament to BH being a good company. Many companies are around for decades and will actively scam with low quality ingredients, not just in cosmetics.

BH cosmetics from what I remember began more as a sister brand to former now deceased coastal scents rather than morphe, they used to take these single eye shadow pans of dubious quality and sell it through their website

I am confused that you can't find the products. I am in Finland and get Emails at least once a week about BH stock, and Doja is frequently on there. Now that they're owned by Revolution, whatever is going on, my heart has sunk. BH allowed me to really get back into cosmetics and play with it, expressing myself, back in 2016/2017 when I had absolutely nothing.

@@tima2553 basically Lorry hill has her own YouTube channel where she talks about plastic surgery and has a neutral opinion about what procedures that celebs might've undergone (more like a speculation) She did a video on Doja Cat a few weeks ago and Megan thee stallion a couple of months ago which did not sit well with Doja. Instead of expressing her discontent politely, she "skinny shamed" Lorry for having an opinion about other ppl's bodies. (Well the irony).

I've seen Iggy's and Dojas BH Collabs at TJMaxx. It's safe to say the hype died down a while ago. I think Doja would be still pushing it if it were her own brand, but this was a quick celebrity Collab like most brands do.

Angelica Nyqvist LOVES BH and did at least one video about their filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy. Like she says, and touching on what your mentioned about their quality, BH isn't good for the price; it's actually really good products. I'm sure we all have more expensive products that perform much more poorly than one of their $16 palettes or $9 waterfalls or w/e. Angelica's suspicions (heavy emphasis on the word suspicions bc she says a thousand times in her video that she's just speculating) are that BH wasn't doing well. Like you mentioned, they kind of dropped off the map for a while. So they made a couple of very cash grabby collabs with Iggy and Doja, but the collections were so big and so unapproachable that they didn't do well at all and did not bring in the cash BH needed to pay their bills. Also I heard the quality of the collabs was not the typical A+ BH quality. They should have been doing the 2022 thing by having a more active social media presence and sending out PR for promotion and to get people talking about them again. I love BH and really hope that they're able to continue being BH even though Revolution bought them. 😬😬I, too, live under a rock, so I can't really speak to the collabs, other than to say they were too big. And those makeup brushes, which I'm sure are great bc BH makes amazing brushes, really do looks like anal beads, and that's hilarious.

I think celebrity promoted stuffs are expensive because a good percentage of the income is given to the celebrity
But probably Doja might not be taking much or taking any at all. That's why probably BH is able to sell at such low prices

Maybe she was not controlled per se but it does seem like she is not super excited about it. Kinda seems like she just did it because it was a smart choice for money. You can make money by selling a smaller amount of expensive products or a big amount of cheap/inexpensive products and considering Doja cat is a GenZ celeb, the latter choice is the obvious route to go.

It is a very nice organism that is usually green but sometimes turns out purple or red and it is put deep inside of the soil and it gets LED lights and magical music played to it just the same way that la mer cream does. And then it grows up and it turns into a celebrity.
