I completely agree with Adam about the theory that these outrage people exist. I don't think they are actually real people. (of course people are typing it and people are helping perpetuate it.) but i think mostly this is people acting in bad faith acting in ways they do not truly believe but like to see the reaction when they act outraged about things. Not to mention I think it would be quite easy for someone to create bots to seek things and post how angry they are about things, but mostly I think it's people creating the outrage simply because they find it amusing and they don't truly care what happens that has always been a thing on the internet, we simply have just started acting as if it's real people.

Or maybe he could move the whole assembly down an inch or so.

Which is it a bolt all the way through with a nut and washer on the other end or a screw? He should've just moved both parts down or up a little bit and start on fresh material after he paints the entire gate.
