Weightless
AM Aesthetic Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Verse:
You cast your stone into a shallow wake
That beckons to the sky and wind to change
To be at home again among the titans
But first sent to the coastline to remind us

Pre Chorus:
You're learning that the bright lights come and go
Wishing that the good nights were the antidote
For all the trouble that you've come to know
But never saw it coming while you stumbled down the road

Chorus:
For every hopeful word I dare to speak
There's a whole new world, of endless questioning
Are we weightless, or will we sink into the sea?
Are we fading, or have we reached the point
Of nowhere else to be?

Verse:
A speck of stone left rolling on the beach
A vessel never worthy of the sea
Low and behold all we've ever done is that which we were told
If fate was a lie then we're waiting on an ocean from a desert sky

Bridge:
Are We Weightless X4

Chorus:
For every hopeful word I dare to speak
There's a whole new world, of endless questioning
Are we weightless, or will we sink into the sea?

Are we fading, or have we reached the point
Of nowhere else to be?

Overall Meaning

The first verse of AM Aesthetic's song "Weightless" sets the tone for the overall message of the song. The "stone" represents a burden that the singer is casting off into a "shallow wake" that "beckons to the sky and wind to change." This line represents the idea of letting go of old baggage and moving forward with an open mind. The singer then references "titans," which could imply a sense of being small in comparison to something greater. This is followed by a reference to the "coastline," which represents a moment of reflection and the need to pause before moving forward.

In the pre-chorus, the singer acknowledges the cyclical nature of life's ups and downs. They mention the "good nights" and suggest that they are not a permanent solution to any issue. The line "but never saw it coming while you stumbled down the road" implies that sometimes the answers we seek come out of nowhere, and we must be open to unexpected lessons.

The chorus then poses a series of questions that encapsulate the overall theme of the song. The idea of being "weightless" or sinking into the sea represents the sense of being adrift in life. The lyrics suggest that there are endless questions and uncertainties, but the singer doesn't offer any answers, leaving room for the listener to make their own interpretations.

Overall, "Weightless" is a song about the human search for meaning and purpose. The lyrics suggest that life is full of questions, and answers may not be clear or immediate, but the act of questioning and seeking is what gives us value and direction.

@Taki Takk excuse me wtf.

I can bench 2.1x my body weight and deadlift 2.6

I definitely do know how it feels to train with real weights.

Dont make arguements from authority

1 they are invalid its a logical fallacy.

2 it makes you look stupid when your assumptions are not true.

3 this falls under stretching category and it has been shown that stretches do help shape and develop muscles

As someone with a fractured wrist this actually helps me when I can't lift weights or anything over 5lbs. It DOES help with toning but no one said you'd gain muscle from it

@Etika losing weight does not focus on any part of the body

Armaan Khan

There is NO SUCH things as toning. You either grow the muscle or you don't.
