I am determined to find out what happened and who is responsible so that justice can be served.

Lock the door to prevent anyone from leaving or entering the room until we have found out what happened.

The truth will come out and the guilty party will be revealed for all to see.

The goddess of the moon has provided us the setting
The nighttime and the moon have created a perfect and eerie environment for events to take place.

In which our story takes place
This environment is where events of this story have occurred.

Their leering eyes burn like coals in my path
People's gazes at me as I investigate the situation feel like they are judging me harshly, and this is an obstacle I must overcome.

But I cannot be compromised
I will see justice done no matter what obstacles I face or what others think of me.

People are firing questions at me like bullets, the hope is to cause hesitancy in me.

A ceiling fan is the only thing in sight
At this critical moment, the environment around feels bleak, and I have little to go on.

With each rotation a shadow cutting through the light
As the fan blades rotate, the shadows created by each cycle reveal small details that could be helpful in solving the mystery.

With my head in my hands a depravation of sound
I am trying to think through everything I've seen and heard up to this point, and I am strangely deafening myself to outside noise.

I can see clearly now that only darkness surrounds
