Less than one year after playing their first show to an empty crowd in a rundown Cincinnati club, A Cry Farewell was found in Baton Rouge, LA, this time in front of a sellout crowd on the first stop of the "Feeding the Wolves" tour with Universal/Republic artist 10 Years. Seemingly out of nowhere, the band proved to be a force as one of the fastest rising hard rock acts in the country. You can hear the ground breaking singles, "Nothing Left" and "Open My Eyes" on numerous rock stations throughout the country including Sirius XM Octane. The debut E.P, "The Offering" was produced by Grammy nominated producer Travis Wyrick (P.O.D, 10 Years, Pillar), who will also be producing their brand new full length album due out in late fall 2011, entitled "THE WAR GOES ON."

Hey guys! Thanks for uploading and supporting us! I figured i'd drop by to clarify some things. Only half the band is Christian. We do not consider ourselves a Christian band. We prefer to be neutral on everything, so our music can be enjoyed by all. In terms of Lester and I, he was hired to do session drums on the EP after I couldn't make it down to the studio, due to my old band being in the studio at the same time. After the recording of the EP, I joined full time, and recorded the new album!

@ChristianMetal55 dude this is good stuff. have you heard any of their other songs??? "Feel It Click" and "One More Try" both have a good amount more of screaming. just check my uploads, I have both of them, and also two other tracks. I'd call this stuff rapcore, alternative metal, or nu-metal. it really depends on the song. so yeah, listen to "Feel It Click" and "One More Try", I think you'll like them.

@ChristianMetal55 they're Christians in a band, if that makes sense, but they're unsigned and the Christian music industry has yet to embrace such a great sound. A Cry Farewell's ex-drummer was Lester Estelle II, formerly of Pillar, who they hired out as a sessions drummer on their debut EP when they were still without a permanent drummer. so I guess you were just getting P.O.D. and Pillar mixed up, which is logical, since they're both AMAZING Christian hard rock / metal bands.
