* 2006 : Guest on the original soundtrack of the movie Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas featured two songs by AaRON :
1. U-Turn (Lili) (the song has been integrated in the movie as a song written by a character for his sister ; the character of the sister has then been renamed in "Lili" to match the song). This song made the band very well known nationally.
2. Mister K.
On the first AaRON album, they covered the song Strange Fruit, a song which was made famous by Billie Holiday. The version they perform on the album is drawn largely from Nina Simone's rendition on her 1965 album Pastel Blues.

Ludlow L
Aaron Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
My head was leaning on the wall
I closed my eyelids and I saw you
Our two shapes waltzing in the snow
Is this day meant to be remembered?
Will I one day forget your name?
Are you the wind that blows my words?
Ludlow Street is the witness
Of your missing footsteps in the snow
All the neighborhood has been swallowed
up by a white cloud filled with hope
You pushed the boundaries of this world
My head was leaning on the wall
I closed my eyelids and I saw you
Our two shapes waltzing in the snow
Our two shapes waltzing in the snow
Sleep monster, the future's coming
I'm just an empty bottle in the night
I was just gone for a night ride
To a place where fever has no end
The first verse of Aaron's song Ludlow L presents a beautifully poignant imagery of two people dancing through the snow. The singer reflects on the moment, questioning whether it will be something they remember forever, or if it will fade away like so many other memories. The lyrics suggest that the memory of the dance is overshadowed by the mystery of the person with whom they shared the experience. The second verse of the song references Ludlow Street, which serves as a marker of this memory. However, the person is no longer present, as their footsteps are missing in the snow. The neighborhood has been transformed by snow and filled with hope, but the singer still feels a sense of loss.
The lyrics describe a sense of disorientation and a feeling of being lost. The singer seems to be searching for meaning and direction, personifying the wind and drugs as potential sources of guidance. The final lines suggest that the singer is lost in the night, adrift in a sea of uncertainty. The line "to a place where fever has no end" is particularly striking, as it suggests that the singer is chasing a state of mind where they can escape from their pain and uncertainty. Overall, the song is a beautiful expression of longing, loss, and hope.
