Excelente canción... el video aunque se sencillo muestra el lado muy humano y alegre de su cultura. Saludos desde México

Impressionant and amazing. This was the first time that I saw Desert Rebel and I liked very much: music and images are great, and my favorite image is the final, at the end I really love two boys pick the bucket up toghether. Thanks for video. Cheers from México.

Could someone please translate the lyrics to English or French? Thank you in advance.
I hope that the Touareg people will one day get a piece of land on which to leave in peace, without oppression from both African states and neo-colonial interests.

@Hakim Cisse , yes. From NW Africa.

@amrcg I can’t believe you responded to a reply from a comment you made 5 years ago, respect 😂. Also I thought you were suggesting the Tuareg weren’t African since you said they should get their own land free from oppression from African states. I will say the condition in Mali between them and the government although bad is improving. And in Niger the Tuaregs have had peace with their government for the last 20 years and influence a large of their economy. I don’t think giving them a piece of land in the middle of the Sahara would solve anything and I can’t think of a country in the area willing to give up some land.

@Hakim Cisse , yes, you are probably right. The important thing is for them to have good conditions to live. If the relationship with the governments has improved, that that is good. As you may know, the Touareg people have fought for their land for a long time. With the end of Kaddafi, I guess that they became at a disadvantage.
Changing subject, after receiving your reply, I've checked again about ABDALLAH OUMBADOUGOU, and it seems that he died this year, probably of cancer.
By the way, thanks for replying to my old comment. Since I'm still alive, I don't bother to answer. =)

@amrcg Ya I heard that he died maybe a few years back or last year. May he Rest In Peace ☮️.

Non il est décédé? J'ai eu l'occasion de le voir à 2 reprises. Très triste de cette nouvelle
