Far From In Love
Above & Beyond Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I miss your touch,
Trying to sew up a love that was built on the sun
I miss you so much
Like a fire burns to embers
I know this is where it ends
In the ashes we are dying
Almost strangers only friends
[Chorus]
Far from in love [Repeat: x4]
Far from in love (So far from love)
Far from in love
Far from in love (So away from love yeah yeah)
Far from in love (From all the loving that I knew)
I can see behind your eyes that you're afraid of who you are
Only silence now between us
I'm amazed we've come this far
[Chorus]
Far from in love (So far from love)
Far from in love
Far from in love (So away from love yeah yeah)
Far from in love (From all the loving that I knew)
The lyrics of Above & Beyond's song Far From In Love depict a relationship that is falling apart. The first verse talks about how the person the singer is addressing is drifting away from him or her, like "melting snow in my hair". The singer misses the person's touch and is trying to hold on to a love that was "built on the sun". The second verse speaks of the fear that the person is feeling, about who they are. The relationship has reached a point where there is only silence between the couple, and they have come so far but are still "far from in love".
The chorus, which repeats four times, emphasizes the distance that has grown between the couple. The singer repeats the phrase "Far from in love", as if it is the only thing that can truly describe their relationship. They are so far away from love that they are almost strangers, only friends. The lyrics paint a picture of a couple that has grown apart but is still trying to hold on to something that is no longer there.
Overall, the song is a poignant reflection on a failed relationship. The lyrics use metaphors like "melting snow" and "built on the sun" to describe the fleeting nature of love. The chorus drives home the idea that the couple is far from being in love, and that they are holding on to something that is no longer there.

Podróże małe i te duże
zabierają mnie ku górze
gdzie myśli są łagodne
i niosą mnie swobodnie
zamknięty w kokonie szczelnie
w nocy jak i we dnie
zapominam o problemach moich
w marzeniach zaplątany swoich
czy szanse mam na powrót panie
nie wiem co się z silnikiem stanie
szpera spina należycie
tu się dopiero zaczyna życie
trance dudni bassem
motyle w brzuchu nad pasem
księżyc świeci, kilometry lecą
latarnie na trasie magicznie świecą…
powiedz mi chłopie czy to jest raj
chciałbym przemierzyć tak każdy kraj
czy ten Tadek da sobie radę ?
w sumie to chuja na to kładę
człowiek w nostalgii jest zatracony
w drogę jak kuna zapatrzony
poczuj ten klimat przesłanie moje
miej co wspominać na stare lata swoje

One of A&B's classics. IMO they're on of the few artists that can really build a track around the vocals, unlike other tracks where it would sound no different if the vocals were removed. The tracks they produce nowadays sound so weak compared to this.

its Kate`s voice that makes the difference
check the stuff she did with Chakra

@Patrick Nelson Charka - Home also with Kate? It's incredible
Alphabeta Music
You just said a key point. If there was a dub of the original mix, I don't think it would be as good. Kate's vocals are something else!
InnerSyncMusic
@Patrick Nelson They should have put her name in the track aswell. But who knows what agreement has been between them.

It's still to this day one of my favourites, I remember listening to this in the early 2000's around 2004 on the drive to Passion, such good memories! It's a timeless piece of art and nothing beats the original!

One of the greatest ever breakdowns, one of the greatest ever trance vocals, and indeed one of the best pieces of trance ever created, the type of music lovers of true classic trance music yearn for when power up their sound systems to find some inspiration. Uplifting trance it it's finest. Thank you God!! (and above & beyond) 🙌❤️❤️❤️

Loving this old school sound!
