Tryin' to do what He told me to
Attempting to perform what He commanded me to do.

And I still have that wonderful letter

Knowin' every time I read it it's new
Realizing that every time I read it, it's fresh and new.

Today I never worry
Currently, I don't have any concerns.

My vision's never blurry
I always have a clear focus.

I've found Someone to handle the stress (Jesus)
I've discovered someone who can manage my worries (Jesus).

I know you really need Him
I'm aware that you genuinely need Him.

So would you like to meet Him
So, would you like to meet that person?

I'm prayin' that the answer is yes
I'm hoping that the response is affirmative.

All your efforts will be in vain (No matter what you do)
All your attempts will be worthless (irrespective of what you do).

Trying to save yourself will drive you insane (He sees you through and through)
Trying to rescue yourself will make you go crazy (because He can see everything).

Is what you can do through His providence
Is what you can accomplish through His intervention.
