With the same "chamber" approach today as then, the group is entirely run by the members, who together decide objectives and guidelines.
Since 1996 Ottavio Dantone and Stefano Montanari have collaborated in total harmony to provide the musical direction of the ensemble, covering respectively the roles of music director and of concertmaster, melding together the best of their human and artistic qualities .
The collective intent, in every phase of work, is that of combining philology and the study of the praxis of original instruments, with careful and respectful study of the score, as in the most noble tradition of Italian chamber music.
The discipline and refinement of Dantone, the energy and inspiration of Montanari, the enthusiasm and complicity on the part of each instrumentalist, weave together like the tiles of a Byzantine mosaic, placing the Accademia among the most refined and vivacious ensembles of antique music today present on the international stage.
Accademia Bizantina has made numerous recordings for Decca, l'Oiseau Lyre, Harmonia Mundi, Naive, Arts, Denon, and Amadeus, many of which have been awarded prizes such as Diapason d'Or and Midem and has been broadcast in live radio transmissions from Radio France, Rai Radio Tre, RSI and WDR, and has performed in the most prestigious festivals and halls across Europe, Israel, Japan, Mexico, the United States and South America.

Not really:
"The first workable prototype of the Internet came in the late 1960s with the creation of ARPANET, or the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network. Originally funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, ARPANET used packet switching to allow multiple computers to communicate on a single network."

This Vivaldi's masterpiece touched my late beloved mother's heartstrings , and she was impressed with and shed tears .
Inspired by this incomparable performance ,
I will dream of nostalgic my late beloved mother who deeply loved Vivaldi .
Vivaldi's melody fits the cherry blossoms in full bloom .
Mother ,
the season of blooming cherry blossoms has come again in Japan .
I remember when I was a little boy and you took me by the hand to go see the cherry blossoms in full bloom
It's a memory of a long time ago .
From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵

Thank-you
Which is your country ?
The season of blooming cherry blossoms has come again in Japan .
Unfortunately
banquets in famous public parks of Tokyo have been perfectly banned to prevent the spread of the Covid - 19
The Rite of Spring peculiar to Japan from 1000years ago can no longer be held
We are very lonely and unfortunate
This year too , the cherry blossoms are destined to fall lonely in front of Tokyo dwellers
Someday please visit Japan
Japanese delicious foods another heartfelt hospitality wait for you
Good luck !

The whole of Japan is covered with the faint scent and the color of light pink of cherry blossoms in full bloom .
I'm managed to survive three waves of Covid - 19attacked Tokyo while listening to many masterpieces (Bruckner , Debussy , Dvorak , Mussorgsky , etc. ) and reading many literatures ( Manzoni ,Woolf , Faulkner , Balzac , etc. )
Japan waits for you
Be on the alert for Covid - 19

J.S.Bach: Can I copy your homework?
Vivaldi: Sure, just change it a bit so it doesn't look like you copied
J.S.Bach: OK
Me: listens to Vivaldi's Concerto for 4 Violins and then Bach's Violin Concerto in E Major

From "Estro Armonico" :
Concerto in si minore per quattro violini , violoncello , archi , e basso continuo , op.3 n. 10 - RV 580
Musica : Antonio Vivaldi (1678 - 1741)
Allegro (si minore)Largo (si minore). Larghetto (si minore). Largo (si minore)Allegro (si minore)
Organico: 4 violini, violoncello, archi, basso continuo
Composizione: 1711
Edizione: Estienne Roger, Amsterdam, 1712
Questo Concerto fu trascritto per 4 clavicembali e orchestra da J. S. Bach (in la minore), BVW 1065
"When the XII Concerts op. 3, Vivaldi is thirty-three years old and on the title page he presents himself as "violin musician and master of the Pio Ospedale della Pietà in Venice". Until that time his fame had not yet crossed the borders of the Serenissima but since the circulation of the first copies the success of the new collection (which he called the Estro Armonico) is immediate and extraordinary. And proof of this is the fascination that he exercised over Johann Sebastian Bach who, between 1713 and 1714, transcribed 6 Concerts from the Op. 3: the numbers 3,9 and 12 (for violin) become Concerts for harpsichord (respectively BWV 978, BWV 972 and BWV 976); the numbers 8 (for 2 violins) and 11 (for 2 violins and cello) are transformed into Concerti per organo (BWV 593 and BWV 596) and n. 10 for 4 violins takes the form of a monumental Concerto for 4 harpsichords and orchestra (BWV 1065). In the Harmonic Estro Vivaldi expresses an admirable structural synthesis between the archetype of the Corellian-style Concerto grosso and his new conception of the form - refrain which then, systematically and ingeniously, will be reused by Bach himself."

I wonder who wrote this magnificent piece.

Unfortunately he is dead.
@selmakaunis670
That’s you Vivaldi!. You wrote Aton of amazing songs.
@justjohn193
Whens the album drop? Any collabs wit Em?
@JoseAlejandroZambra
When Vivaldi died in 1741 his music was in the most complete darkness. It was the scholars of Bach in the nineteenth century who first heard of Vivaldi, thanks to the ancient manuscripts where Bach had transcribed the concerts of someone called Vivaldi. It was known who Bach was, but who was Vivaldi? Fortunately, a search was conducted, which resulted in the rescue of Vivaldi from oblivion.
@gmshadowtraders
Do we at least have a painting of the man somewhere? How ungrateful they were at the time, and still are I guess to this day. Humanity (:
